    Any gift cards?

    • -2

Big w seems to have 7.5% of 100$, 200$ 500$ gift cards currently, so if all discounts work

500$ gift card would be 7.5%(already on special) + 5%(cash rewards, + 10% with current deal

      22.5 percent off!

      • +5

Big w gift cards are part of the exclusion list.

      • +3

Cashback is currently not payable on any Woolworths Group Gift Cards purchased through Groupon.

Woolworths group stores include but are not limited to BIG W, Dan Murphy's, Masters, BWS, Thomas Dux, Cellarmasters and Caltex Woolworths, Woolworths Online and Woolworths Supermarkets.

    • Most gift cards are excluded

  • would you group this up with cash rewards?
    5%?

    so 15%discount potential?

    • +1

yes. not 15% exactly but something like 14%

      • haha…

if we go through cashrewards we may get approx5% on top discounted

if we dont have cashreward - please use EC's and Randoms referral links above

        • +1

You can actually sign up using a referral link. Then come back and use cashrewards. They work together

        • @easternculture:

          ICIC. understood.
          will signup

      • It is a 15%(10%+5%) off.5% cashback is based on original price, similar to eBay purchase.

So if you buy the deal via Pricepal Founder level(9% cashback),you can get 19% off.

Last time 15% off sitewide,I bought 3 vouchers with 24% off.

        • How do you get the founder level on Pricepal?

        • +1

@jdogg: It was from this deal.

        • @JSQUARED:
Can't believe I missed it! Damn thanks for that though

Any actual bargains? As per ozbargain guidelines, please consider to list examples to give an indication of what is on offer so as not to waste peoples time searching - perhaps for things you have already bought

    Thanks :)

    • +2

there is so many things sold on Groupon that what may be appealing and considered a bargain to me , may just be unappealing and useless to you.

      • +2

Yes, totally agree…but examples are helpful, as ozbargain guidelines suggest. people can then indicitvely see what sort of value can be had - perhaps post all the best examples you can find? Or maybe just the things you considered a bargain, appealing and useful to you and therefore purchased?

    • i get a car wash groupon

  • Thanks OP. I'll be getting 5% via Pricepal.

I find they are more consistent than cashrewards in tracking purchases and also offer a $20 buddy bonus. This means I now get 10% cashback plus 10% off Groupon sitewide.

    • I'm at founder level so I get 9% + 9% in addition to this current 10% off deal. I'm also a pricepal fan.

Btw buddy bonus is now $5

      • It certainly makes a big difference EC. Nice work.

I stand corrected, it's $5 buddy bonus. I referred 4 friends hence the $20, too easy.

Any Dick smith gift cards for sale?

  • +2

For Melbourne we'd recommend Maya Mex all you can eat. Tacos $9pp http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/melbourne/maya-tequila-bar-g… or $40 for two people, all you can eat. http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/melbourne/maya-tequila-bar-g…

The catch? Service takes forever… order everything in one shot. Entrees, mains and desserts. We've been here a few times (they recognize us) and the food is always very good, unlike speed of service.

  • Just bought Malaysian lunch deal in Sydney CDB. I went to CashRewards first. BTW, when I completed the transaction on a Groupon site (in a new tab that popped up from CashRewards), there was nothing that said me I'm gonna get my 5% cash rewards. Could anyone explain if/when/how this additional 5% from CR can be had? Many thanks.
EDIT: just got email with the Groupon voucher. Will wait for news from CR.

    • +1

depends on ur luck really, last time vodafone deal, i get CR 1 out of 5, did exactly same thing for each one

      • Hm, interesting, and not encouraging. Now that we have in-house CR rep TA, did you talk to him re these issues? Curious. Otherwise, the only thing I'll be using CR site for would be to buy Woolies gift cards with 5% discount, that deal is outright one.

    • +1

There is no notification of cash rewards at checkout stage but it should show up and you will receive an email within 24-48 hours sometimes quicker.

    • +1

Got email overnight from CashRewards, looks like I would be getting my additional 5% :). Might just order couple more laksas (with a drink) for under $7 bucks. :)

  • +5

Groupon have a 15% off site wide every other day. Interesting to see a 10%off sale making to home page.

  • +1

had a feeling these discount will go to 5% near future this year~ From $10off 2014, then 15%off in 2015 is now already a rare thing

  • FFS I just paid for 2 imax tickets and two deals, FMLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • was going to buy a couple of themepark tix, but cant find them anywhere…

  • +1

PricePal doing 9% cashback, are they reliable to deal with?

    • +3

Their tracking is better than cashrewards in my opinion. Even the cash back rates are better if you are a founder level member which most Ozbargainers are. Also the buddy bonus makes the deal much sweeter.

Only thing is you need to wait till month end to get your money deposited to your bank account.

  • The coupon isn't listed on the Pricepal website. So does this mean it won't honour the cashback?

    • Yes,it will.It is bit slacking to update new coupon.
