          @megatechwarehouse:

I know :) it'll be even better when people Google your business and find this :)

        • @Spackbace: I've been thinking the same thing. Ozbargain links rate high in Google's rank calcs. Rep is digging a whole that the whole of Google will see within a few days. Ahh, so foolish. And he claims we are not tech savvy. LOL

Still a bit of a laugh on a Monday night. I haven't seen a rep this destructive to their own business for a while.

        • @PBG:

          Already top hit ;)

@Spackbace: Damn! I didn't realise OzB was recrawled every hour!

      • Tell me, are you an ex-PM trying your hand at something new…?

        • 10 devices sold already since posting to OzBargain. We love OzBargain. Maybe you guys should come join our business…if you're looking for jobs..well it apparently does seem like ;)

          @megatechwarehouse:

Um, but the stock level on your website has been sitting on 10 for the past 30 minutes..

I really hope this thread stays open JUST so when people Google this store they can see exactly who they are buying from. Claiming unmatched customer service yet you act like this? You could lower the price for $10 right now and I still wouldn't buy from you.

If the OP is an employee the boss will be pissed. If the OP is the boss, well… There are no words.

    • Amen!

    • +1

Wait it's happened, google the company!

    • Don't be so angry alfred. When was the last time you bought yourself a premium device?

      • +1

This is OzBargain, I come here to find value for my money. I don't need a premium device, nor is this offer for a premium device…

Just so you know - if you google megatechwarehouse or megatech warehouse the first thing that comes up is now OzBargain and this thread.

So you might want to reign it in.

    • Hahahaha…Good find…I tried and your every word came true.

      • Any publicity is good publicity for us. It's morons like you that end up wasting your time anyway ;)

        • hahahaha….You are getting angry babe….just chill…

        • @pyramid: 10 devices sold already since posting to OzBargain. We love OzBargain. Maybe you guys should come join our business…if you're looking for jobs..well it apparently does seem like ;)

        • @megatechwarehouse: That sounds promising…How many are you expecting as faulty/return?

        • @pyramid: None of your business. It's a Samsung product not your cheap second hand imported device that you paid under $100 for.

        • @megatechwarehouse: Indeed not my business. I'll never own such business anyway.

        • @megatechwarehouse: If you just sold another 2 then your website should say 8 left in stock not 10…

        • @megatechwarehouse: wheres the proof at OP?

    • +2

Lol we have more hits than their official site :)

      • You have no idea what you're on about mate :D

      • +2

:-) I wonder if the "technically competent" OP has any clue of how many people are members, our histories and experience on the 'Nets [Yes, OP, there have been and are more than one]and the joy and fun of tag searching - as in tag wrestling, not searching for tags…

        • You deserve a medal for your expertise & experience. How many did you get but doing this?
You know the answer & so do we. It's the golden figure - ZERO! NADA! lol

    • Thanks for your efforts and the PR!

      • +1

Do you understand that any potential customer who Googles you, will see you revealed as a dodgy angry halfwit and run a mile?
"OMG fifteen units sold in the last three minutes"
That false urgency is convincing so many…not.
        (real sales = 0)

  • +2

OP next time maybe you should list 'p sherman 42 wallaby way, sydney' as your address instead of:

    Mega Tech Warehouse
    Sydney
    New South Wales
    2000

    Seems more legit.

    • Ah was that meant to be a joke?

  • +3

    Define 'train wreck'?

    Answer - This deal!

Don't give up your night job.

          Not anymore!

I'm going to bed now but I've made a note to open this page first thing in the morning. A great laugh to start the day.

Rep, if you are just trolling a business you're about to close then hats off to you. If not then you might want to consider a new domain and change of attitude.

    GAME OVER

  • +2

BY reading all comments with the store rep. I can tell how "GOOD" the customer service can be.

Bad price with bad service hope your store will be "one of Australia's fastest dying suppliers"

  • +3

So this business isn't registered with the ABR under the name Megatech Warehouse or Mega Tech Warehouse. No ABN appears on the webpage. All whois information is hidden. The contact email address is a gmail address. No physical location, of course. No names or phone numbers.

It's either a scam business or a failed attempt by a kid to start a business. His "7 sold" and "10 sold" claims are obvious bunk.

It's hard to ruin a business that doesn't actually exist which is likely why they're just digging the hole - it makes no money now, it will make no money in the future, why bother trying, might as well have some trolling fun.

EDIT Fun bonus thing: their "Product Disclaimer" is a copy-paste from the Officeworks site.

    • Nice work esp the Officeworks c&p and the probable conclusion re the non business that just wrecked its name so why not troll?
I have him down as: "Taxi driver dreams big"

      • +1

I searched their disclaimer because these kinds of non-businesses often have 10 different .com's registered ('cause they're cheap) and just duplicate their sites and replace <Business Name 1> with <Business Name 2> so that if one of their scams is rumbled they just carry on with the rest. The disclaimer would likely be identical on their copy sites but google didn't find it… although it didn't find Megatech either.

But now I'm just giving the guy ideas.

And Uber driver seems more likely than Taxi driver. Those Taxi Plates and insurance are expensive.

        • Lol. But wait, you need your own reasonably modern car for Uber? - So maybe not. :p
I am seeing: Ten men, one apartment, one taxi licence…no limits.

"Oh noes! GoogLe ! My business! My life!"
Think he finally realized he really is only a little pisser in a big bad world.
Good night, little pisser. Good luck with everything!
    You will certainly need it.

    EDIT
    And….he's done. (Disabled his account)

  • +1

I believe the OP is either a troll, or does not relate to the business (competitor?)

No person can be sane enough to be doing what he is doing.

    • Yeah I think we got trolled here

  • +1

Can't believe that this happened in just one hour and a bit. I was hoping it'd last so I have something to read tomorrow.

  • another funny thread

  • +1

    LOL holy crap
This was an absolutely hilarious read. Neg from me too.
    I think I've discovered I'm a "never buyer" too.

But wow. That is by far the worst attitude I've seen from a rep here.
Why's OP's username now DisabledUser though? What did he get disabled for?

  • Wow made my day (even though its 2am)

He definitely chose the wrong community to advertise a price like that

  • +1

Whoever pos voted this should be banned.

  • Terrible PR.

  • +1

@Mistal >I believe the OP is either a troll, or does not relate to the business (competitor?)

Could be a competitor - that would be sad if people are resorting to those tactics to destroy a small business )if they are a legitimate business of course)
