Do you have a barcode for instore shopping ?

    • +1

Good question, but I think that it is online only "Offer can only be redeemed at woolworths.com.au."

    • +1

Hi EC. Online only. Getting mods to add to title. Ran out of characters.

      • +7

        Ran out of characters.

No shortage of those on OzB. ;)

  • Time to stock up and fill the freezer! Thanks tightarse

  • +6

Pro tip: buy stuff that varies in weight slightly. You'll get more than what you paid for.

    • Twice my orders were less..so I would say check them.

    • Unless you shop at Coles

    • +1

I always get more chicken, meat, deli and fish then I pay for when ordering online some times by a few hundred grams. Just a few weeks ago I ordered the 900 grams of lamp chops at $10/kg and was given 2 880 gram packs :)

      • Usually the same, always get more at Woolworths…..but today. Ordered 2 x 900g, got 2 weighing 880g total (1 was refund). Never mind, paid a total of $79.77 with a $21 total refund, but importantly still got the $20 Amex refund

  • Can you do bag&bake through online orders? Although woolies promote it heavily, many stores around my area don't provide the bag&bake.

  • +1

    Cashrewards + amex?

    • +1

too bad you need to come up with another $90 worth to get up to the amex credit spend

      • it's in one or more transactions, so create several accounts

  • +1

Just used the WK34COLLECT with the last of my $20 Amex cashbacks tonight. Will start on restocking the meat freezer tomorrow at $20 a pop. Cheers OP

  • Something that I will have to wait until tomorrow to test is that online orders have a minimum spend of $30. And so I think that I will have to spend $40 before discount of $10.

    • I would expect the spend limit to be pre-discounts.

      • It's pre coupon discounts I think…

        • No, Just tried!

  • +1

Don't forget the spend AmEx $100 and get $20 back deal as well. Might as well add in some other things to the shopping cart.

  • Can this be used more than once?

    • From the OPs post, "Offer valid only once per shopper during the offer period."

  • +5

    'ARSEMEAT'?

  • +1

Last time I checked, Hot Chickens weren't available for home delivery or click and collect.

    • +1

That's because the van's refrigerated. I'll get them to restructure their system for you.

    • +3

      What about cluck and collect?

      • +2

Only available in New Zulund, bro.

  • Thanks TA, 33% discount on deli products (on top of specials) is unbeatable!

  • This is great, thanks TA. Keen to stock up on some roasting portions!

  • +5

I find buying whole Salmon a lot cheaper. its about $13/kilo for the whole one from fish shops and hardly one kilo wastage for a 6/7 kilo Salmon. Fish shops normally clean and fillet salmon for free. I freeze fillets in freezer bags and use it as required.

    • wat do u do with the head and tail?

      • +1

Delicious soup with potatos, onions and celery if you desire.

    • +2

Where do u buy it, at foots market in melb it's 15/16 per kg. they scale and cut into pieces but they don't fillet.

Filleted salmon costs a lot more due to the labour involved, so the whole salmon price is discounted coz, well, it's whole.

Plus u do get more than a kilo of waste, general salmon waste is 20%, include, head, spine and fins. Excludes guts.

    • really $13/kilo? In vic?

  • 3 kilos of bacon for 20 bucks :)

  • Is this code gunna be on cash rewards?

  • never bought online from WW can I do click and collect? I dont want to pay for delivery :)

    • yep! ive got 2 accounts set up too!

    • Yes but not at all stores. I have to travel to my third closest. Still less than 10 minutes drive away.

Tried the atlantic salmon + basa working out a total of $30.XX
WK35MEAT does not seem to be working. Message => "Sorry, your Coupon: "WK35MEAT" does not appear to be recognised by us. Please call our Customer Service Team on 1800 000 610 for assistance."

I have the same error message here :(
Sorry, your Coupon: "WK35MEAT" does not appear to be recognised by us. Please call our Customer Service Team on 1800 000 610 for assistance.

      • +1

        same here…

        • I got message "Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon promotion." Not sure what is happening

    • +2

I've just raised this with our contact at Woolies. Will hopefully have it sorted soon :)

      • +1

Now it says "Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon promotion."

      • any chance of asking for a fix so it works with seafood?

        thanks

minusing the amount from your final order amount vs the items in the cart would be nice too to reduce the minimum spend, but this was probably done intentionally

  • I wanted Salmon for my birthday dinner tonight - but the 'special' is actually $29 (skinned and boned), or $28 skin on. not $26, which isn't that special - and I wouldnt be caught dead eating a fish caught from the Mekong River System in Vietnam. aka 'Imported Basa'!

Ah well - will have to see what else is good.

    • +1

whats wrong with Basa fillets I have to admit that I do occasionally buy them as a cheap source of protein.

      • +2

You'll find that most hipsters have an allergy to anything that isn't overpriced…

        • HAHAHA!!!! So funny!
Not a hipster actually, and if I had an allergy to "anything that isnt overpriced" as you put it, why the heck would I be on this website, having just had 3 free lunches this week due to birthday freebies.

My issue is that these Basa fillets are caught in a river that people use for washing clothes and dishes - why the heck do you think Basa fillets are so much cheaper than every other kind of fish.
I saw an article about the conditions they're grown in on the ABC, and it wasnt pretty.

I also prefer to support the Australian fish market rather than the imports that will eventually do the Aussies out of business.

          YAWN

        • @rawm: Some of the comments below the story are hilarious…and disturbing! ;)

Coupon works now, but takes off $0

    • Haha!

      • edit: Stacks with delivery

However, the seafood such as salmon don't get any $ taken off, only meats like chicken breast

Also, the amount is taken off the item in your cart, and not counted as an 'order discount', which creates minimum order of $40 before disc.

        • Stacks? Is there another code?

    • Same here. Promo Code 1: $0.00.

    • Mine says takes $0 off but the total is reduced by $10.

  • Coupon works for me but minimum spend of $30 (post coupon) is being enforced.

    • +1

      Which shouldn't be the case:

Minimum spend of $30 excludes any other coupons and/or discounts and delivery charges

      • +1

Well I just added three packs of Kirks cans. Over $40 and it works.

  • 10 KG of chicken drumsticks for $20 as well !

  • Code isn't working for me either. Code is applied but the Payment amount does not reduce by $10.

  • When you get the confrontation email don't get confused by, "Less discount 0.00". The meat prices are all a third less than the unit price.

  • Coupon works now, but takes off $0

    • Are you buying seafood? Comments above suggest it is an issue.

  • -8

Code not working for the Salmon suggested over $30. Waste of time.
Wrong description and instructions by the OP.

Strange! This op is usually reliable and good but not thus time :/

    • -1

Fair comment I'm afraid…has anybody managed to get this deal working, coz it sure as hell ain't working for me???

      • I've got it working, bought chicken breasts.

        • Pity it never worked for seafood as advertised though…

    • -2

      It's not rocket science..everybody else managed..maybe it's a user error.

    • +1

      Waste of time.
Wrong description and instructions by the OP.

It was an honest mistake. See mods comment here

      • -1

Honest or not, it was still a mistake, and A4classic's comment over two hours before yours at the time was totally valid.

You guys have got to stop being so bloody parochial about posters, and look at the deal itself objectively…

        • -1

and look at the deal itself objectively…

We are. And it was WW's mistake, not the OP's

TA posted the deal based on the details he found. No need to blame him for WW's mistake

  • Same here. Promo Code 1: $0.00
$35 of just fish & chicken but code not working

  • It looks like Woolies don't activate these codes until about 9am on the start day. I tried it after midnight, and again this morning and only now is it working.

  • I just rang Woolworths contact 1800 000 610 and they told me they don't recognise that code…. :(
    what do you think tightarse??

    • +1

It just worked for me, for some lamb.

      • Yep - also got it to work on lamb chops but not the fish.

  • -1

seems to work only for meat items currently NOT on sale

  • Worked for me now with chicken pieces - (4 x $5kg - 1.61kg min = $8.05 a pack) Inghams Chicken Portion Pieces Gourmet Roasting (on sale) from $32.20 to $22.20 with code.
Topped it up to their $30 min with other stuff,
I have already received the order confirmed email.
    So all good.

  • Deal is updated - Woolworths incorrectly stated the deal was for meat, deli and seafood but it is actually meat only. They've fixed the code and terms & conditions up now.

  • Do I need to enter rewards card number? Im trying 10kg chicken drumsticks for $20 and it doesnt work.

    • yes I think you do

  • -7

I got 7 negative votes for my posting and don't understand why. Am I not allowed to make any issues or comments when the posting is not true or different from what it is supposed to be? It looks like this OP has a lot of fans and followers who don't allow any negative comments for their star even though it is a fair one. I enjoyed ozbargain.com.au so far however it looks like time to leave before it is dominated by the clan of this OP. Posting many like this OP doesn't mean that they have more votes or rights as we are equal with the same right. Wake up people! Let's be fair! Overwriting a single negative vote by many others is not fair. What's wrong with having a negative vote? It's an opinion only like our democratic system.

    • you posted on the wrong website. Click here Whirlpool.net.au for the right forum

      • -1

Oh! I posted in a wrong site since it is about ozbargain.com.au?
Thanks anyway. I already got negative votes. I assumed this OP is doing a business here e.g. cashreward? ..and their colleagues control the site..may be wrong. Thanks anyway and will try the forum

        Cheers

    • If there is an issue with the deal, press the "Report" button and state what the issue is. Someone will fix it up.

    • +1

Hey mate, its the way you appropriated the comments.
      Maybe you could have wrote:
"Hey all, I've tried the code on Salmon and it didn't work. Anyone else having any issues?"
Be happy when posting a comment and everything will flow natually :)

  • I put in $31 worth of Salmon and it works for me, but my Woolworths doesn't offer click and collect.. nearest C&C 80km away, so add delivery.. back to where I started.

    • +1

free delivery for new accounts… ;)

  • What's important: you have to stay over $30 order total as a minimum spend. That's after the discount is applied.

Now I have to see what other $10 items I can add without risking my $100 spend in store (from an unrelated promotion). They sure make it tricky…

  • 25% discounted chicken. Bok bok bok.

  • stacked it tonight with amex and 'new account' cashrewards… $140 for ~$90 if the cashrewards gets paid
