Damn if only graphics card was a bit better. Still good deal.

  • I have a couple of spare codes, if anyone wants one

  • can normally get them for $1,700 in the Outlet i'd personally take that route but each to their own if you want a brand new one :)

  • My code in case someone needs it - 92VR2VBZJL4WC8

  • Is it the same as (http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Alienware-15-R2-Gaming-Laptop-…) ?

If it is the case, ebay will be cheaper with the code when they are active again?

Not exactly, i7 vs i5 and no SSD in the one from Dell.

      • you are right. Thanks..

I was looking at this from Kogan not Alienware but MSI if or when the code does become active again
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MSI-GE62-6QF-15-6-Apache-Pro-Gami…

They claim it is shipped from Melbourne rather then HK so there should be no duty ?
      Specs:
      I7-6700HQ
      GTX970M 3 GB
      8 GB DDR4
      1 TB HDD (no SSD)
      1 x M.2 slot
      1 x USB 3.1 Type C
      1 X USB 2.0
      2 X USB 3.0

      Price $2199
Price expected If indeed the 20% Code becomes active $1760
      With the savings you could buy this;
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-950-Pro-M-2-256GB-PCIE-In…
$264 down to $211 with code

Final price $1971 which ends up cheaper with a GTX970m compared to this with GTX965M; Provided the ebay code does eventually become active and Kogan don't Jack up there prices after it does become active which can't be guaranteed.
