    THIS IS A MASSIVE DISCOUNT!!
    Great find mate.

  • Will the LG G4 support this?

    • -2

      No, 128GB only

      • +2
        • Interesting. According to gsmarena it supports up to 128GB, but can't dispute it with LG then.

        • +2

@xiangtan: 128GB was probably just the largest amount tested at the time that it was released and they were playing it safe.

    • +2

It should work fine. There should not be any size limit as long as it's using supported file system.

    • Checked the googles, says the G4 supports up to 2tb so I'd imagine 200gb would be just fine

    • All android microSD slots use a standard that can handle up to 2TB. The 128GB or 64GB rating on phones is just the marketing departments' lack of technical understanding.

HEY WTF!!!!! I just got one from Amazon last week from an OzBargain find! About $138 delivered Shit!! Shit!! Shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

Admitting myself to voluntary suicide watch at the chatswood centre.

    • +1

Not sure if they still do this as it's been a while but live chat an Amazon CSR and mention the price drop, you might be lucky enough to get some store credit as your order was so recent.

      • +1

They do. I recently received a price difference refund on some thing i bought which dropped in price about a week later. It has to be sold by seller amazon.com and should be fine.

    • And i believe its still not yet delivered.

      • Just tried to cancel it as it still hasn't been despatched so will see how I go…

        • Ohhh crap… Exactly 10 seconds after I posted that, i got an email saying,

You requested to cancel part of your order which was placed on Monday, March 7, 2016. Unfortunately, we weren't able to stop this shipment and your items will soon be shipped. We apologize for the inconvenience caused

          Shit!!!!!!!!!!

        • +1

Pretty good chance you will get refunded the difference. Cross fingers.

        • +1

@Myright: Talk to the Amazon, complain about the price drop when it's not even shipped. I bet they will refund you the difference.

        • +5

          @Oversimplified:

Did it!! Put my complaint in told them I was about to jump off the Anzac bridge and they promptly refunded the $20usd differnce as credit..

Man I'm impressed with Amazon!! Awesome service!

        • +1

@Myright: I got a refund of the difference when the price went lower before. As long as it was sold bu Amazon and it is within 7 days since you purchased you will get the refund of the difference. If its over 7 days all you can do is try your luck. See here for details http://www.groovypost.com/howto/request-amazon-price-change-…

        • @Scarecrow2012:

          Very useful info… Thanks

    • I just ordered mine less than 24 hours ago for 80!!! Phew, i chat with Amazon CSR, n cancelled the order coz i wanted to order 2 instead. (They offered to change the price of my order to match but coz i wanted to order 2, best option is to cancel).

    • if it is the same as this, live chat will refund the difference as a gift card.

  • Couldn't go past this, will use it in my MacBook Pro as second HDD. :D thanks Op!

  • Just ordered one! Hope it will work with my Xiaomi Yi.

    • -1

Sorry to break it to you, but the Yi only supports up to 64GB :(

      • Nope. I use a 128gb on mine

  • Just bought one, not sure which of my mobile device can take 200Gb card.

  • Great price, was just tossing up whether to grab one for US$20 more a couple of hours ago.

  • Which microSDs are capable of 4k recording?

    • +1

Depends on recording bitrate (not all 4K is the same!)
What device do you plan on using?

      FYI
      - GoPro Hero 4 Black has a max specified bitrate of only 60Mbps (7.5MBps)
      - Sony Top Action Cams (AFAIK) have max specified bitrate of 100Mbps (12.5MBps)

      • Galaxy S7 edge XD

        • +2

A bit of Googling shows early reports of about 6MBps, which is pretty similar to most flagship smartphone that can record 4K.
That said, I believe the best APP (for a filmmaker) for filming on smartphones is FILMIC PRO, and I have seen online reports of this app being able to be recorded bitrates on iPhone 6S as high as 150Mbps (where it usually gets similar bitrates ~50Mbps/6MBps), so if the Android app is as good, and the S7 edge supports it, then you MAY get something in that vicinity. Even so, 150Mbps is only 18.75MBps, so any card that does ~25-30MBps sequential write reliably should be fine.

If you a worried, get a U3 card, but you will be limited to 64GB unless you go to big dollars.

  • +1

This awesome price. Couldn't resist. 😝

    • +1

As OP linked to, personally I reckon the Ultra looks better value for money

      • For what reason? Seems to claim to have the same performance.

        • +1

I have an android phone, so I'd get the use out of the micro-usb plug as well. Mixed comments on heat of the Ultra Fit.

      • Clearly thats personal use case: i.e. is smaller size or micro usb support more valuable to you.

        • Should I have written it as this:

As OP linked to, personally I reckon the Ultra looks better value for money

You know, just for those that felt the need to pick apart my opinion? Did I need to highlight that word?

        • -1

@Spackbace: Not picking apart your opinion, just pointing out, more to @sputnik that your opinion is based on personal use case and not definitive value.

    • +1

Excellent if you wanna fry an egg with it

  • Nooooo.. almost 10 bucks for normal shipping!!

    • I was charged (USD) per below for other SD card bought min's ago

      Order Summary
      Item(s) Subtotal: $49.98
      Shipping & Handling: $5.11
      Total before tax: $55.09
Estimated tax to be collected: $0.00
      Grand Total: $55.0

  • Why they not make 240GB sd cards?

    • They reached the maximum capacity for the die size apparently. They need to upgrade the chip making factory to get higher.

  • Link to the SanDisk SSD Plus 480GB 2.5-Inch is pointing to the 960gb version. Great finds!

    • +1

      Fixed :)

  • +1

    Great post OP.

    Some phenomenal prices there.

  • My first OzBargain post… Is the SanDisk Ultra 200GB Micro SD good for 4K recording on a Galaxy S7 Edge?

    • I would go a U3 card but in saying that I haven't tried 4K with this card.

    • what's the bitrate on the S7? 4k on the note 4 is only about 5-6mb/s even elcheapo cards will suffice

  • +1

Just bought the Sandisk Ultra 200GB. Thanks for the find and the amazing discount!

  • Thanks mate… Bought a couple of things.

  • AUD 92.38 for the 200gb Microsd….. But Meh still good deal, can't wait!!

    • +1

Did you pick US or AU dollars? I find if I pay with US dollars works out a bit cheaper.

  • is that the lowest price ever for the 480GB?

    • Well that is the "Plus" budget line.

  • Amazon App referral discount was applied to checkout. down to $85 AU for the 200GB SD!

  • +1

    2 x 480gb ssd $273 delivered … thanks op.

  • NOW is US$59.99 / AU$80 for 200GB SanDisk MicroSD!

    • +1

When you add shipping it should match the OP

      • Yes I forgot it. And may I ask what is OP means?

  • +3

I ordered the 200GB MicroSD from Amazon a few days ago, just got a US$20 refund for the difference in price. Gotta love their customer service policies.

  • I ordered the 960GB Sandisk SSD last week, just sent an email saying I was disappointed with price drop and they credited my account with difference.

    Thanks for the information!

Oh and I ordered another one and the micro sd :)

  • Looks like a good time to buy 200gb. More than half price the local retailer selling.

  • bought two of the 64gb SanDisk Extreme SDXC UHS-I/U3. the 128gb is better value but my wimpy camera only takes 64gb max :(

  • Received $20 refund for 200gb I ordered 1st march. Grabbed another 128gb usb3 low profile hand burner

  • SanDisk Extreme SDXC UHS-I/U3 128GB Memory Card vs the SanDisk Ultra 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter: Which one would be best suited for a DSLR?

    • +1

I'd bought the standard SD card 128gb. Less stuffing around and it probably would be faster as you don't have an adaptor to worry about.

  • Is it better to pay in usd or aud? I pay using a debit master card with westpac. I ended upp paying in USD and I realised there are some good local pick-up points for me now the best one is my local newsagent so that brough the price down to $87.71AUD I'm cheering!

    • Depends on your bank exchange rates and work your way whose offering better rates.

  • thanks, bought 128gb & 200gb sd cards

  • Hate this site!!! it spends my money for me! :P been on the fence about upgrading my laptop to an ssd, fell off said fence lol

    • +2

You won't regret it huge difference

      • yeah I know, laptop is more a back up if the desktop dies, but when I do use it it is the load times that annoy me, so yeah, I was waiting and a good price and bit the bullet.

  • Showing as $119.84 when I click into the link for the 200gb sd card. Deal finished?

  • +1

I didn't need another SSD. But i got one anyway.
    My wallet loves me

  • +3

Thanks, bought the 200gb for sub $100 AUD.

Harvey Norman is trying to sell it for $498!!
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/cameras-printers-stationary/c…

    • lol harvey norman

  • I was going to buy a 64GB for $32 mentioned on here a week ago, but now there is SanDisk Ultra 200GB Micro SD for under $100

I'm not sure if I even need 200GB for my phone, as I don't play games on it. It'd just be music, and I feel 64GB is enough. My silly Samsung Tab 4 only goes up to 32GB.

I think i'll save the money, more isn't always better esp if you have no need for it.

  • How long does it take for Amazon to process an order?

I ordered a 200GB microsd this morning and I haven't been charged for it yet.

    • Website states 1-3 weeks before dispatched. I agonised over buying this for $89 But I realised there's nothing to agonise over it's the best bang for buck micro sd card at this price!

  • Brought 5 x 128 GB SD cards for my Japan trip.

Look like i won't be needing my laptop anymore.

I hate you D810 shake fist

    • +1

      Where did you bring them?

      • … to Japan, of course.

  • Just received my 200gb microsd, even faster than AusPost local post. Good job Amazon.

    • hmm, was it delivered by fedex, dhl, toll or ups?

      • +1

Used the cheapest postage, somehow, Amazon use DHL to deliver my order. Now I have another 200gb boosted to my surface pro 4. Happy days.

    • Is that even possible? It was shipping (ie not even to be sent) in 1-3 weeks when I ordered

      • Maybe you got in late? Maybe you should check with Amazon then.
