Vodafone has 8gb of extra data on their $50 BYO 12 month plan.

4GB data + 8GB bonus data when signing up online by 3/5
Infinite standard national calls.
Infinite standard TXT here and to overseas.
Infinite standard international voice calls to 10 selected countries. Excludes premium numbers. T&C apply.
90 standard international minutes to selected countries. Excludes premium numbers. T&C apply.
$5 Roaming. Use your phone like you would at home in over 50 countries for $5 extra per day. Offer ends 31/01/17. T&C apply.
2 month Data Workout. Unlimited data for the first two months with no excess charges. Offer ends 03/05/16. T&C apply.

Maybe not as good as the previous Optus deal for $40/10gb but the best out there at the moment

  might go the 2gb hit and stick to month to month.

  Virgin have a $50 unlimited plan with 10GB and $300 international calls, for those better served by the Optus network.

      Do they share the "unlimited international calls" as well? I used to be on voda but can't remember how it worked.

  If it was Unlimited calls to the Philippines i would consider but i have a month to month with optus for $60 a month with unlimited calls to Philippines.

    hi, optus byo sim $60 month to month is only offering 500mins international call, but you have unlimited calls to Philippines? please confirm its unlimited? thanks.

      Wow sorry they must have just changed it to 500 minutes. I only looked a couple of weeks ago and it was still unlimited. I joined earlier in the year when it had a special on 6 months 50% off so i got Unlimited calls to overseas and 7 gigs a month for $30 for first 6 months.

      I have to same plan as paulaus, I was searching for unlimited calls as Skype and mnvo of Vodafone was getting expensive. I found it with Optus $60 Month to month which include unlimited international calling.

      I think the offer ended March 31st. Must be a new plan in place now.

      I am also on same plan as paulaus, Would sign up instantly if voda has a similar deal. Calls to India and big data are key for me.
      Optus is great value for me right now, but the network is Shite!! And not to mention their incompetent billing system!! I am sick of them already and I still have a month or two to go until it goes back to full price.
      Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
