      I bought the EL2000 from them a couple of years ago for $99.
      Seems pretty sturdy to me.
      I'd say $129 is still pretty good.

      I actually rang Elna at the time, forget why, and they told me that they sell to Spotlight for more than what i paid.
      So i think Spotlight takes a hit on their sewing machines, hoping to make a dollar on fabric etc.

      But, you know, i'm no expert, and all i've learnt to stitch so far is curtains, together, so i can sleep till midday.

    I received a different barcode in my email but when I was trying to redeem it online at the checkout, it says "Failed to apply promotion code to cart.     Speaking to spotlight rep now about codes, was told the codes only being sent out randomly to selected VIP customers and restricted to frequent shoppers. Apparently they have had a barrage of people complaining of not receiving their coupon codes either. He placed a request for a code to be sent to me pending approval but advised of "no guarantees".

      Thanks for the update. The rep clearly doesn't have a clue as to how their system works. I joined VIP last week and still received the coupon in my email. It's not for frequent shoppers only.

    I can't find the coupon in any of the online catalogues… there's a curtain they don't have the drop length I need on the website but do in-store, so I'm keen to go in and get it but am stuck without the coupon… they have multiple catalogues online, custom made, really big sale, vip yarn etc, but none with the offer showing??
