as many ozbargainers have noted, the listing is incorrect. This item is possibly the older model. The seller has been contacted to rectify. If you have purchased this item (like me), you are covered by the eBay guarantee. http://pages.ebay.com.au/ebaybuyerprotection/index.html

For the ozbargainers suffering insomnia.

A reputable US eBay seller (same as https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/247510) is selling Moto360 (2015) watches for USD124 including delivery. Note this is the larger (46mm) Moto360, with better battery life, but worse fit for svelte wrists. A number of colour combinations still available at time of posting for the same price. Since combinations for stainless steel band is normally USD50 extra, potentially a great deal.

A very good price compared to previous ozbargain deals:

  • What's the catch?

    • Read the sellers feedback.

Many unsatisfied moto 360 customers ;)

      • damn i said the exact thing the other deal for the refurbish version, also told my mate at work to stay away with that type of feedback… lol

Would like to know if legit.
From the looks of it, the placement of the "crown" indicates it's the 1st Gen.
    Can someone please confirm?

      1.0 GHz ARM Cortex A7 (quad-core) Processor, Chipset : Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 APQ8026, GPU: 450 MHz Adreno 305

Would love to hear others' thoughts! I saw the specs are different for this listing, Snapdragon 400 was only for the 2015 model.

I've asked the seller, will update the post once that information comes to hand.

        • Any word?

        • +1

@killabob: No word, but the listing has been changed to "1.0 GHz TI OMAP 3 (single core) Processor", so this is definitely not the 2015 model. For me it's not worth it, I'll cancel the transaction.

    • All photos are from 1St gen.

    Must… resist… urge… to buy… more… pointless… junk…

  • +2

All those pics indicate gen 1.

  • +2

yea im really confused by the ebay listings

    • moto 360 46mm = 2nd gen
-pictures all 1st gen since 2nd gen has the button at roughly 2 o'clock
      -Resolution of 320 x 290 = 1st gen
      -Snapdragon 400 = 2nd gen

what gives…but still most likely the first gen

  • model: 00418NARTL was the first gen

  • Do a search on ebay for "Motorola Moto 360 Blutooth 46MM Backlit LCD Water Resistant SmartWatch" and you will get 4 almost identical post.

1 by the above seller "mobilepros" and 3 by another seller "breed"

One of the posts actually listed these as "1st Generation, Case Size is 46MM."

Looks dodgy to me (2 of these posts actually listed them as refurbished with one of them selling at the same price?)

  • “This device is 100% function with little to no signs of wear.”

Offered as new but signs of wear?

    • open or missing box. Could be shop returns from people who did not like it.

      Not new.

      • Well, it is a refurbished watch that has been worn before, so technically the condition information is correct.

  • This is probably the old Moto 360, jamestownfx posted the same link in the comments from the last deal.

Edit: :v ok just noticed you found it from him too; but yeah all the pictures are of the first gen…

  • I bought one from the old post, I was gonna refund it for this, because the price difference is not much for the GEN 2, but it turns out I purchased this but from "Manufactured Refurbished" for a total of $147, before he relisted it for a higher price.

  • As if you'd buy from this seller. He has a lot of negative feedback! http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&u…

  • Officeworks are clearing these out at 199, not sure of availability, but it'll slowly reduce in price (in store had a sticker saying was 249,119,99)

    • I bought mine from Mobileciti for about $230 with steel bracelet and I am more than happy with the device.

Only downside is that my other watches collect dust as I guess I won't be wearing traditional watches anymore :)

  • The neg feedback has scared me off these guys. I've asked two questions (from the previous post) and had no response.
Doesn't bode well if i had an issue.
