Looks like eBay and Myer are trying to get in on the whole VR thing and have 20,000 free cardboard like headsets to give away.
If you don't have one already may as well grab one or two…

      I bought one from Ebay and the first thing I saw was blurry and double vision. I then found the profile creator for Google Cardboard. That looked to difficult so I used one for a Oneplus One' phone that someone else had made. Perfectly clear and no more double vision.

      I have got the same issue most of the time cause the lenses are moving freely inside their frame and they need constant adjusting

    For anyone who has one of the headsets, they appear to be a copy of Google Cardboard V2. As a result, the VR profile for the obnoxiously named I Am Cardboard VR Cardboard Kit V2.0 kits (which are just branded Google Cardboard V2 sets) works for the eBay headset.

    I used it for mine; just zoom in on the picture that shows the QR code, scan it with the Google Cardboard app on your smartphone and you're good to go. With a little bit of adjustment of the glass lenses, they work pretty well. For reference, I am using a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

    Mine just turned up. Delivered by Star Track. Ebay Myer VR app dissapointing. Low resolution, have to close one eye to read properly. Have to move head alot too much also. Seems fiddly and awkward to me.

      What phone are you using? The resolution of your phone display has a major impact on the quality of the VR image. Granted though, even on a 2K screen the quality isn't much to write home about.

      I'd give YouTube 360 a go if you haven't already. Worth giving it a go anyway.

        Galaxy S6. I think it is the lens quality. They seem cheap, and they move around all the time and keep falling down. They had debris on them as well. It made me sick looking for too long through it. Think for VR you really need one of the proper headsets if you want to be comfortable and enjoy the experience. How do I do the Youtube 360?

          YouTube has a dedicated 360 channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzuqhhs6NWbgTzMuM09WKDQ

          If you play any of those videos with the YouTube app, there will be a little cardboard goggle icon in the bottom right of the screen. Tapping on that will enable the split screen/360 output on your screen.

          You can then pop your phone into the view and control playback using the capacitative button on the right hand side of the cardboard VR viewer.

      Took me a while to get used to it. Try focusing further away in the distance. Also make sure the lenses are straight and not half falling out, I had to push mine around a bit until they were in a more secure position.

      I also used the Cardboard v2 profile as suggested above by scanning the QR the code, not sure if that helped though.

      Try focussing further away with your eyes, ie look into the distance. Takes some getting used to!

      try to move the plastic lenses.Mine are not fixed properly and they move inside the carton frame.I have to "spread" them apart and double vision goes away

    Tried lots of different Google Cardboard profiles all resulted in double vision, no luck with the V2 IAM Cardboard QR code. But this one was the best I could find (on Samsung S4):
