E8 is a budget M8 with plastic build, still a very good phone with M8 specs and higher resolution camera. Amazingly cheap too!

That's not what the seller is saying though. They have in the listing that you can't update the firmware on the phone, they have updated it now and user cant change it any further.
Seeing as it's coming from HK, there's a high chance that these are mainland Chinese stock (no Google services), the store might have flashed the international rom on it to make it more usable.

Ozb doesn't have title guidelines that specifies grey stock. It's commonsense now anyway, if it's not shipped from Aus it's not local stock, quite simple.

$63 doesn't seem like much but $262 is still 31.7% more than $199, and you're essentially getting the same specs…
I guess it comes down to whether a metal chassis is worth that extra money for you.
Just so people know that this model may not have the 3G 900mHz band depending on which model we get sent. Also this has 16GB memory, the M8 linked above has 32GB. Still good deal for some. Thanks O/P.
yeah not for me to much rules and regulation in the listing also trying to scare you into not updating the phone and the 35 business day postage with no option for a faster postage
How much spyware is on this thing? If they do not want you to update the firmware, thats pretty suspicious…
