  Trying to decide between a PS4 and the XB1.
  AFAIK, XB1 has expandable memory and you can just plug a portable HDD into it. PS4s can't do this, right?

  If that's true then I'm not sure why anyone would pay extra for a 1TB XB1 when the 500GB version with whatever size portable HDD would work just as good.

  Also, XB1 is backwards compatible with some XBox 360 games.

  What makes the PS4 sell more units that the XB1?

    Xbone you plug in a USB3.0 drive. PS4 you can swap out the internal drive.

    Back compat is a joke, it has <10% of the titles. Ensure you check what particular games you want before buying, because you will be disappointed.

    PS4 is more powerful graphics-wise. It hits 1080p30 most of the time, whereas Xbone is 720-900p usually. Games just play better on the PS4.

    PS4 also has more console exclusives.

      So in order for the PS4 to have more storage, you have to swap out the internal drive. I assume this voids the warranty.

      I'm not really worried about a minor graphics performance difference.

      XB1 with a 2TB external USB 3.0 HDD still sounds like a good deal for me. Although I do like the looks of Uncharted 4. But I'm also a fan of Halo. It's a hard choice.

        This and the fact that the Xbox One is such a good deal won me over.

        Sony exclusives seem to be 'sit down and play for hours because of the story'. The MS exclusives are 'lets blow sh#t up'. The latter appeals to me more and my limited time I get to play games.

  I picked up the headset/homefront deal. Wanted a headset and I didn't really want to pay more than $20 for homefront..Considering the headset works on new gen consoles plus the Vita, I'm pretty happy even if it's not an amazing headset but I do need something for now.

  The Xbox One pretty much sold out everywhere else in metro Melbourne but Epping still has a few. Picked one up around mid day after ringing around all morning.
