Yeah looks like the code doesnt work anymore. But it doesnt mean that they will accept any of the orders beforehand. Hopefully at a good compromise they give a full refund via paypal in a timely manner, and not give out store credit.

This is likely to be the problem where FocalPrice's routers are blocking IPs from a certain range.
Is your current WAN IP in the 118.x.x.x range? If so, thats the problem. Seems to happen most often to Internode customers. Try disconnecting your ADSL modem and reconnecting .. hopefully youll get a 121.x.x.x IP.

lol, not really. We all knew it was a system bug, and wasnt supposed to be 50% off the whole site. Getting anything more than money back was always going to be a bonus.
The 68 points are not bad. If it's $10 per point usually then it's like I spent $680 dollars. Only worth 1 cent each but still this trip has been quite the lark. (not sure why I'm using that word) I wonder if I could haggle them to get the 5% off if I kept the order.

When Focalprice sources all the products from Chinese local markets/manufactures, it just costs Focalprice half of selling prices. That means 50% discount is quite possible.
Would you like to provide evidence and facts to support your claim? Or just another internet commentator who is making a wild guess? I say the latter.
Having worked with their suppliers and attending tradeshows, I can guarantee you their margin for electronics goods are no where near 50-100% as you would claim. Not even 20% in most cases.

I got a 32G SD from Taobao, a Chinese website, a month ago for RMB125=A$22, now the price raises to aroung A$30. And also you can find how much these faked mobile phones are on that website.
If only you had a clue about ram and memory chip pricing fluctuations. Obviously you don't work or have any experience in the IT industry. Talk to any IT retailer or even the owners of these sites and see if they have an average profit margin of 100% (on electronic goods) as you say.

Wrong, I know for a fact that they make very little profit on most of the items.
The only items they make a decent profit on are the expensive electronics over $50. But even then its NO WHERE near 50%.
They still have to cover the postage costs.
You may not believe that 32G SD is only for A$22 on local Chinese online shop.
Chinese make huge profit, Their margin is huge.
You can tell from those exclusive internet shop that close the door to any foreigners.

Focal Price are claiming they can't find any history of either of my two orders now, despite them sending me a rejection email and the charges going through in PayPal.
