I am unsure of the exact performance of the hosting servers - but for my needs this fitted in well.

Got 1 year hosting (Economy plan for $8.95 per month) = $107.40
Domain cost - $24.95 for 2 years

To proceed it asks for an eligibility number:
ABN, ACN, Trademark etc… make sure to have this at hand.

Make sure to have selected 1 year subscription (or whatever suits you)

Finally you get 50% off on the hosting side of things using the VIP50 code
Will workout to roughly ~$76

Again, unsure what the performance and the support are like. Open to constructive criticism and knowledge share.

    No. VentraIP used to be Cove.com.au (their last deal back in Feb 2010). They acquired 9web last year. 9web did post quite a few cheap deals here to drive up their customer base. See this forum post from last year.

    VentraIP just aquired all Servers Australia's "free" hosting accounts and have informed uses "FREE NO MORE"
    (Pretty piss poor effort if you ask me)
    So many looking for alternate options.

    i would just get a domain via netregistry and point to your new host, just easier if you wish to move web hosts later.

      VentraIP acquired all Servers Australia's shared hosting accounts - not just the free ones. Given SAU are discontinuing shared hosting altogether, anyone on the free plans was SOL anyway…

    ABN, ACN, Trademark etc… a simple 12345678 works too I suppose… But I had an ACN for my needs

    Note: This is to validate eligibility for the .au domain name - entering an invalid ABN/ACN/ID will fail when they go to register the domain.

    Ventraip are one of the good ones which include NetVirtue and Panthur.

    The 50% off first invoice is no big news as they have had that for a long time. I think netvirtur have it as well
