  • Here's a direct link to the deal
<link removed - you need to click on the ad in the eBay item in order for it to work>

  • I don't see anyway to get this offer.

    • You'll need to turn adblock off, or just click the direct link above.

      • On my phone… No adblock installed, tried the direct link.
        I get:
        "Sorry
Unfortunately you are not currently eligible to receive this offer.
Please visit our site to view the other great post-paid mobile offers we currently have available."

Tried on both Wi-Fi and mobile network.
        Obviously limited or targeted offer.

You need to disable your ad blocker :)

      • Nope… See my post above.

        • You need to click on the Telstra ad displayed on the linked eBay listing.

        • @JSQUARED:
There is no Telstra ad (for me at least) on the eBay listing.
There's an ad under the payment info for an Asus GTX 970, a flash ad on the right under Kogan's seller area fired Netflix and a bunch of Google ads down the bottom, mostly for various other sites (Optus, AliExpress, VividWireless, DickSmith, LG, etc).
No Telstra ad. Ads on browsers are generally targeted based on tracking cookies.

        • @JSQUARED:
Can you please explain where exactly on the eBay listing page the ad is?

        • @thedriver: The ad should be under "Payments". I clicked it once but it's not showing back up for me now (after fluctuating between some EOFY sale, amaysim), and now there's no ads underneath there for some reason.

But that was also the method in getting this previous deal.

        • [@apptrack]
          @JSQUARED:
Well as I said the ad under the payment method for me is for a graphics card. Having refreshed the page numerous times, I get ads for Amaysim as well.
          But no Telstra offer.

          Obviously targeted advertising.

How can this be a deal if you can't access it?

        • @thedriver: Try go to different pages for phones and try incognito. Did that on my phone and PC and came up on both..

        • Are you using a script blocker?

        • @apptrack:
Just tried both, not working for me.

        • @Diji1: no,
          Ads are targeted or random.

I think i will stick with my $1 sim from Woolworths

  • Can't see it either. Is there any way to provide a link directly to the deal?

Telechoice uses the 4g coverage of Telstra, gives 7GB , unlimited calling plus additional $200 overseas credit for $39

Pretty good with the coverage for me .

Hey guys, it looks like the offer is available on the Telstra Page

    https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/plans-and-rates#

It's the Mx online only offer.

Edit: No chromecast with that offer so yeah not as good.

    • "Just to inform, the $40 a month MX plan is for customers getting a new number or porting over a number from another service provider." Just got told that on live chat when tryng to change my current plan.

    • Pretty sure this deal is the M BYO plan with $10 off (+ Chromecast) rather than the MX with CC. So should come with all types of support.

  • no Telstra ad on that page for me.

  • 4892 comment links to the correct page at Telstra.
New customers only, and all support is online, says no store and phone support for the 12 months of the contract.

For a moment I was like holy daym that is a crapload of comment links to the correct page…

  • It's like Vodafone said, "Tag, your it"

    Pick, up that turd, bitch.

  • No telstra for me unfortunately. 14 days of no service and no explanation apart from sorry we are having another outage. Kept on giving me mobile broadband credit to use but credit would expire on the same day so have to call up again and go through the whole saga again.

After 5 days of some service and loads of line interference it finally succumbed today again. Called up and gave them a piece of my mind and finally a tech has been organise. Lets see how we go Monday.

I'm only able to get Sandisk ads on that page, even in incognito mode.

    • I was getting Sandisk and Ezibuy last night, today it's Amaysim and ABC Shop, and as I type this I've hit upon a Telstra shop advert, maybe 20-25 refreshes of the eBay link, order placed :)

No thanks~! I have grandfathered Woolworths plan with Optus. 26 bucks gives me 5GB and 200 bucks phone credit. That's very sufficient for me.
    Yahahahhaha Yohohohoho ~(^_^~)

    Google play billing?

    • AFAIK that's only on Telstra Prepaid.

Not to say it doesn't work on Telstra Postpaid, but when you select the option, it just adds it onto your bill…. unless that's what you want..?
