    this is a very good backup software.. strongly recommended.

    i have used this software to migrate from my laptop SATA drives to SSD's along with backups

        Without getting into every feature, they are basically the same except back upper is the new kid on the block so to speak & has a free version.

        Now days its more user prefs I find unless you want the features.

    My Bitdefender antivirus claims this program is corrupt. Is it right or is it the real corrupt one?

      I scanned it with my Bitdefender before installing & no problem before or after apart from the license they sent me being invalid.

    I use Windows built in system image to image the C drive + SyncBackFree to back up data on a regular basis to USB drive (enough for most home used).

        This must be like Giveaway of the Deal. Where the software must be activated during the giveaway period. And if you try to reinstall after that date then it's useless.

        Actually is probably is a Giveaway of the Day installer file which bitsdujour is linking to. So no go peoples it's useless now. I hate these crappy giveaways where you can only install it during the giveaway period. Want to format the hard drive after that period, you lose the ability to use the software again.

    Just be aware that many people including me have had problems scheduling backups with this program. It is possible to get the scheduler to work but only by using Windows Task Scheduler instead of its own service and then tweaking the task scheduler entries.
