Big Xiaomi phone sale starting 5th July. Very reputable store (Hong Kong Dreami) with some excellent prices available. The Mi 4c was very popular last month, and is now going for less!
Prices include free shipping to Australia.

Xiaomi Mi 4c - US $119.99 (~AU $162) (5"/16GB/2GB)

Xiaomi Mi Max - SOLD OUT (6.4"/32GB/3GB/4850mAh)

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro - SOLD OUT (5.5"/16GB/2GB/4000mAh)

Xiaomi Redmi 3s - US $119 (~AU $162) (5"/16GB/2GB/4000mAh)

Xiaomi Mi 5 - US $309.99 (~AU $419) (5.2"/32GB/3GB)

Someone requested a deal on the Redmi Note 3 Pro Prime, I've found this:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Prime (gold) - US $168.00 (~AU $223) (5.5"/32GB/3GB)
This is a great price, but note that this store isn't well established compared to Hong Kong Dreami which all other phones in this deal are supplied by. DHL available for ~AU $17.

  • Any of these capable of simultaneous dual 4g or 4g/3g?

    • Mi5 is 3g/4g dual sim

      • Aside from the Mi5, are all the other ones GSM for the second sim?

      • Thanks mate. I don't understand why the seller doesn't advertise this. Such an important feature.

  • Max is US$287 now.

    • +3

      It starts tomorrow.

  • What is the different between Note 3 PRO and Note 3 Pro PRIME?

    • -1

The Note 3 Pro has a far superior CPU (Snapdragon 650 vs the Helio X10 in the Prime). Don't think there's much difference other than that.

      • Then why the url above showed Prime as Snapdragon?

        http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-3-…

        • No such thing as a Note 3 Pro Prime. There's only a Pro and a Prime, not a pro prime (from what I've read).

EDIT: Seems like the Pro Prime is the 32/3GB model, and the Pro is the 16/2GB looking at past deals.

      • According to link here both use s650. I thought the difference was the prime was English only Hong Kong version?

      • This is super confusing but I believe both the pro/prime names are 3rd party designations and have no official meaning.

There is an older note 3 (MTK Helio X10) and a newer note 3 (Snapdragon 650). The SD650 is a better SOC and has better rom support.

The pro/prime may also be used to differentiate between the 2GB+16GB and 3GB+32GB versions.

        • I agree with you, when I searched on the GSM arena, there are only Note 3 (mediatek, old one) and Note 3 Pro (new one). The Prime maybe named by sellers who one to distinct 16GB/2GB and 32GB/3GB

  • Differences between the Note 3 Pro Prime vs 3s?

    • Note 3 Pro (don't think there's a pro prime and there's just an error in the namingI think the Pro Prime is the 32/3 model as in my above comment) has a 1080p display (compared to the 720p one on the 3s) and a Snapdragon 650 (superior to the 430 on the 3s).

  • Just ordered Redmi 3s pro (3gb/32gb) version of 3s (2gb/16gb) from different vendor yesterday (only gold left - 152USD), DHL was extra 11USD at:

    http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Xiaomi-Redmi-3S-Pro-…

Went for unopened version with China stable rom as fairly confident to install google play with help of MIUI forums. Don't have to unlock boot loader for this either.

I spent considerable time deliberating over Redmi 3 pro prime (3/32) and Redmi 3s pro (3/32) rather than Redmi note 3 pro as was after a phone with 5inch display.

Major difference between Redmi 3 pro and Redmi 3s is processor. Newer processor with slightly better gpu in 3s, however I have read it is clocked hence Redmi 3 pro supposedly performs better. Neither have been included on the official list for beta release of MIUI 8 (based on marshmallow android 6) however according to gsmarena (http://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_3s-8150.php) and other reports on MIUI forums, the 3s ships with MIUI based on marshmallow. Can compare the xiaomis on gsmarena if still confused.

I ordered a 3s too. From the limited information on the net the gpu in the 3s is clocked 100 mhz lower than in the pro.

Based on these results listed in this review:

      http://www.igeekphone.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s-vs-redmi-note-3-vs…

In benchmarks like 3d mark, the 616 actually outperformed the 430, however in the other gfx benchmark framerates were similar. Not really much info out there to tell if it's as good or not. I guess it's gonna take a hit in gaming performance. But from what I can tell with the limited info available on the net, general day to day performance will be similar the s616, maybe a little worse. However the battery life is a substantial improvement over the pro according to the only other review I could find here. http://en.miui.com/thread-300810-1-1.html

Not quite 18 hours in pc mark vs not quite 14 of the pro.

I figure people who are getting this phone probably don't care too much about performance and looking for incredible battery life instead. So the s model seems the obvious choice.

Some other advantages I found the 3s has over the pro
-faster internal storage, emmc 5.1 vs 4.5
      -QC 3.0
      -better modem

      • Battery life is what drew me too this model in the first place, so thank you!

      • Yeh I anticipate the difference in performance for me in my day to day use is certainly not going to be significantly noticeable. Other perceived deficits such as 720 vs 1080 res also not really a factor for me with a 5 inch screen.

      • 3s also has:
        - fingerprint reader on 2gb/16gb model
        - marshmallow based miui

  • Any comments on the Redmi Note 3 Pro and compatibility with 4G/LTE 1800MHz, and 850MHz? I don't really know what band they are..

Whats the differences between Pro Vs Prime?

  • No, the sale hasn't started yet

  • +1

This is really a stupid sale with unannounced start time. Aliexpress is really unprofessional.

  • i've been checking all morning and nothing has changed

  • This seller has Gold Note 3 Pro Prime (3GB/32GB) for US166.99 plus US11.07 for DHL.

    http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-3-…

    • Keep in mind aliexpress isn't run from Australia. It's likely going by USA timezone.

      • already 5th July in US and no discount on them still…..

  • Ali Express website has issue with chrome browser. can't select anything, but works perfectly fine on Ms Edge browser.

    • the price still with no reduction from either browser

      • I don't know when the starts, that's why the price is same from either browser or mobile site.

  • Does the Xiaomi Mi Max do a/g/b/n/ac ? .. specifically does it do ac ???

    • .. found the answer at http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/reviews/xiaomi-mi-max-review… ..

    ON SALE NOW!!!!!!!

  • Can someone please ELI5 to me what i would need to do, if anything, to make the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro function (does it come with google play, do i need to install a custom ROM?)

  • redmi 3s $120USD is out of stock

    • Yeah apparently there was only 60. I ordered the 3s from the other store for same price. I was going to get the 3s pro, but didn't think the extra storage and ram was required for my use.

  • The 4c is coming up as 190 AUD shipped?

    • I think it's more like $160

      • You'd think so right?
What kind of a sale is this?

    • It's still there for $186 packaged with Mi Band 1s

  • Max sold out quick.
Still plenty of Note3Pro at ~$182.40

    • I got the impression the 2GB were sold out. Plenty of 3GB models but they are $169.99 USD each. Once you pick "standard" pack, the 2GB model version is all greyed out.

  • I really hope delivery doesn't take as long as listed. Has anyone used this seller before without paying extra for express delivery? Just wondering how long your wait was?

    • +1

      15 days

      • Did your phone tracking list ur phone as in Australia for over 10 days before delivery?

        • no. contact your post office or the seller

        • @Phoebus: Yeah i did, Auspost says it may have been lost as they have no record of it leaving customs and Singapore Post told me it arrived in Australia on the 18th July (10 days ago) Was just hoping that was normal but i guess not :( thanks for your help

  • +1

Mi4C is still there. $186 including a Mi Band.
Where else can you get a SD808 phone under $200?

  • +2

    Very misleading marketing by Ali.
I assume anything goes over there

    • +1

indeed very misleading, was looking at the max all day without discount, after I left work and all max sold out…..

  • Has anyone received their phone via standard delivery yet? i am going overseas at the end of the week and i am still waiting. It says my phone has been in Sydney for 8 days now but i still have not received delivery or an update in the shipping tracker.
