  Are there a few different types of locks you are selling?

  The first picture looks like a much thicker cable which is black and has a bit of red on the lock part or key, then all the other pictures seem to be a much thinner cable which can but cut easily with a small pair of bolt cutters or hacksaw.

    I guess the LHS of the 1st picture is just some stock photo, the RHS of the picture is what they are selling.

  Yeah, the picture of it in action on the bike is clearly a different model.

  These $5 locks will only deter casual opportunistic theft, not people who are actually out to steal a bike.

    This type of lock is aim at $100 "department store" bikes, which the "pros" are not interested in.

    I haven't seen $5000 carbon fiber bike parked on the street yet.

  One of the pictures shows what appears to be a pair of handcuffs was used to lock the "U of F Police" bike, a very effective reminder!
