Bigpond are now offering naked ADSL2+ for a trial period (believed to be approximately 5 to 6 weeks) for $59.95 for 25GB (uploads counted) with no excess charges (shaped to 68kbps).

Before you start voting negative because other ISPs can beat this deal (which they obviously can on different infrastructure), this deal is only for those who have access to Telstra wholesale on their exchange!

Added benefits of this naked plan is that you keep your home phone with no line rental and you can call emergency 000 if needed plus you can keep your current landline number and continue to receive calls.

  If you want to have another boring tirade against Telstra do it at Whirlpool. This as some have said Maybe a deal for those who can only get Telstra. Lucky you who have an option, but until this stupid govt can get the NBN up and running, most adsl2 by others is on hold - as they wont invest in limited life products. So stop imposing your personal viewpoints on deals that May suit others as per the guidelines.

  No I dont have Telstra as my internet provider, or mobile. I have Mynetfone. I do have homeline basic which I get less that $1 worth of calls on my 3 monthly bill. Why do I say this because some nerd here who stupidly voted outside the guidelines and lost their negative vote is sure to declare I am a Telstra fanboy.
