6th Gen i5-6300HQ Quad Core, Note: This isn't a low voltage cpu, it will eat the i7-6500U for breakfast!

12GB DDR4 2133MHZ RAM, nice, some competing models are still using DDR3.

256GB PCIe SSD, nice, some competing models only have standard M2 or sata, PCIe allows for fastest possible speeds.

GTX 950M 4GB VRAM, unfortunately using DDR3, the DDR5 variant is much more ideal.

    Low-midrange. Mostly the graphics as the weak point. The CPU is mid-high range. Everything else is high range.

    A 960m would be solid mid range if not better, but I doubt you'd see one with a similar CPU under $1200-1400

    VRAM is DDR3 not DDR5. Read one of the reviews. If you not really gaming on it then that will not matter.

    The bigger one would generally be a better one for office. Faster CPU, more RAM.

    This one better all rounder. Bigger faster SSD, better GPU, more compact and portable, cheaper, but only an i5 CPU compared to the i7.. I'd go for this one.
