  • Saw this at Greenacre, NSW yesterday too.

    good price.
I remember coke use to be 375ml a can. :(

    • +4

It still is at major supermarkets.

    • Nah these are probably weird imports from Asia.

      • +1

No coke does a f ton sizes to its non supermarket clientel, like you can buy 300 450 and 600ml bottles ect.

        • 450?

        • Kmart used to have slightly undersized cans dirt cheap. Big W used to have cheap cans with yellow on the top of the can.

        • @LoopyLou:
          AC Cola

        • @chipstss: yes those were bottle sizes I quoted. They likely just swapped to a new size or ow stopped carrying the line.

      • No. They are made in Australia.

    • When did they stop doing 375ml cans?

      • +4

        They didn't

        • they better not!

  • -3

compared to the recent Pepsi deal this is nothing.

  • +2

    Seems to be nationwide: http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/coca-cola-c…
Might click and collect a couple.

    • Delivery is extremely reasonable @ $5.95 for 4 units. If my math is correct that's 31.68kg of goods to be delivered. Good for us fellas who don't own a car.

      • Even better, delivery is free for orders over $55 (6 slabs).

        • Only in metro areas.

    • Thanks for that link.

  • +1

10% smaller cans than normal though.

    • Still cheaper than elsewhere. Works out to $1.26 per litre while at coles it's $2.46 per litre (at full retail).

      • Still under 50c if you factor in the difference between 330ml and 375ml.

  • +1

Saw them at officeworks auburn (nsw). Keep in mind that they are 330 ml vs the regular 375 ml

  • +2

They do these at Kmart too

It's s clever marketing tool, convince people that it's the same thing but cheaper….

  • Fastest way to erode your teeth

    • +5

      Cheap too!

    • +4

I know someone who used to drink Cans of coke every day never rarely brushed his teeth and rarely went to the dentist. When he did the dentist said his teeth were perfect.
I also know one of the healthiest people who rarely eats sugar and has numerous fillings every dentist appointment.
Long storey short all depends on your genes weather your teeth are strong or weak

      • -2

Long storey short all depends on your genes weather your teeth are strong or weak

That's bullshit. Tooth health is predominantly determined on what goes in your mouth, the medicine you take (especially as a child) and how clean you keep your teeth and gums.

Anecdotal evidence is not real evidence.

        • +1

He's not entirely wrong. Whilst a lot of oral health does heavily depend on diet and oral hygiene, some people ARE more predisposed to developing caries than other people. This can be the oral ecosystem (the type of bacteria living in your mouth), the genetic make up (enamel formation and so on) such as amelogenesis imperfecta or just incorrect oral hygiene practices (brushing too hard, exposing cementum/dentine below the CEJ etc).

That aside, thinking you can get away with just drinking coke and not brushing your teeth is definitely not gonna happen. Maybe, it did happen with this one person, but I wouldn't count on it.

        • +1

I would agree with the good genes! Although I have nothing to back it up with. I brush three times a day and floss and I still get a little calculus build up, its extremely frustrating. My partner brushes max twice a day and has perfect teeth.

My entire family have had braces, brother, sister and myself, my dad has terrible teeth and my mother has fake teeth.

I see a periodontist every 6 months and visit the dentis every year.

Ps. I do not drink coke, eat sugary foods, chocolate, or lollies. I'm screwed 😂😂

      • +1

thats me,I eat KFC drink coke almost everyday, never had any teeth problem in my life, well just a bit over weight

        • +1

          Me too mate.

I drink coke every day, sometimes don't brush every day (I know, disgusting… but sometimes I don't!), and have never had a filling (and I'm in my 40's).

          Everything in moderation.

People who watch TV and think movie and tv stars with nuclear white teeth are "healthy", are just like the idiots who think supermodels and weightlifters who have 5% body fat is "healthy".

          Commonsense folks.
The bullshit that dentists preach about 6 monthly checkups is purely for money. You have no business checking your anus every six months… trust me, no gold in there. Same thing with your mouth. No need for a dentist to be prodding about in there telling "ooooohhh, this tooth needs to come out" when there is NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU!

Go for a clean and check up if you want every few years, and brush at least once a day to get rid of crap accumulated throughout the day. But the regime imposed on everyone via guilt is bloody ridiculous.

Gluten free this, low carb that. Low sugar this, low salt that.

Everything is moderation is the only rule you need to follow. My bloods are checked every year (only because my Mrs wants me to!), and EVERYTHING is normal.

No multivitamin tablets, no following BMI scales (another bullshit thing to live by!).
Humans are designed to build and carry a little fat.
You are UNHEALTHY if you are too lean.
The opposite sex likes it, but your internal organs don't!
It's like forcing the body to live in famine mode 24/7. No insulation. No fat reserves.

Don't fall for all the bullcrap out there.

          /End rant

      • +1

I actually did this in my late teens for about 2 years. I drank 2-3ltrs/day, I didn't drink water either. I'm now in my mid 30's with zero fillings/cavities. I did brush twice a day, but i also had a 1.25ltr by the bed that i would drink from if i woke thirsty in the middle of the night.

  • confirming at milton officeworks brisbane

  • They're selling the powdered version on sale as well at officeworks!

  • -2

    Aren't they always this price?

  • +9

I think the guy who wrote the feature list was struggling:

    • Each can contains 330 mL of Coca-Cola.
    • The cans are ideal for a single serve refreshment.
    • They are great for keeping in the fridge to enjoy cold.
    • +7

forgot easy pull tab, exciting livery, conductive non magnetic delivery system.

    death served in a can

    Includes 12 month warranty.

  • Bout 7 teaspoons of sugar in each can.. Hello diabetes

    • If everyone went by this, nearly 80% of the population would have diabetes.

      Guess what? They don't.

      • Wow I dont know what's worse in this post, the doubt over whether sugary drinks dont contribute to type 2 diabetes or the belief that 80% of the population drinks coke.

        • Wow,I don't know what's worse, whether you think coke is the only thing with sugar in it, or that you think 80% on the population don't consume soft drink, ice cream, chocolate or lollies.

I hope you don't put sugar in your tea or coffee.

    • +2

You know what else has 7 teaspoons of sugar? Two oranges.

    • +1

less than a Boost juice then, and less than some fruit drinks.

Why did the frog have to go to the dentist?

He drank too much croaker cola!

(APPLAUSE)Yes, thanks for that folks, plenty more where that came from if you want to hear more.

      Happy Fathers Day for yesterday!

  • I much prefer 330ml to 375ml. The latter has always seemed to be slightly too much.

    • I feel funny about cans vs bottles. I feel like a can is too much and I share it with my missus. But a bottle? I'll polish one of those of no worries.

I'm putting it down to being able to see how much you have left, where as in a can you can only go by weight.

  • Is this now sold out as I can't add them to the cart?

  • +1

Grabbed two click and collect @ Prospect SA

  • Hahah.. ended up spending nearly $200 all up. Bought 4 slabs and then found 'ezy storage' brand under-bed containers which have optional castors. Looks better than the crap at kmart (which i've bought) and cheaper to boot, at $10 each when you buy 4+.

Sadly the cokes will be 8-15 days delivery, not same day or next day. Oh well.

  • Do they also have Coke Zero

    • Couldn't find any on the site. Maybe wait for the next DM deal.

  • best before date anyone?

    • +1

      expire date 12/12/16

  • T_T got refunded by officeworks today

    • Me too.

    • Me three.. I think this should be marked as expired as they clearly will not honour the sale price.

      • I'll add a note to the deal that online orders may not be honoured, stock is still showing in store at a number of places. It might just be an issue with online orders, quite strange it's still showing available for people who had orders refunded.

        • That's why I don't think it's actually a matter of stock - because they clearly have the stock and it's not being discontinued.

From where i'm standing, it looks like a cheap tactic to get people on their site, lured in by the cheap coke. And you know what - it worked. I spent over $100 on storage drawers that I didn't know they had.

For the matter, my local store said it had stock but that click and collect would still take 8-15 days (same as delivery). Very strange.

        • @FiveDarrah:

Yeah same situation with my store and the 8-15 day wait (got notified/refunded after 4).

Although now my store is no longer in stock it still lets you order for click & collect in 8-15 days, I may as well order again to see what happens:

          Click & Collect
          Collect in 8-15 business days

          Shop in store
          Out of stock in store

          Quite a mess.

        • @hamza23:

Good idea, i'll try the same.
