But this is for the family 4wd. Also, we generally change our car every couple of years; so giving it a full cut/polish professionally before selling would get rid of most of these marks!
Personally, there are so so many dirty cars on the road, I would rather at least wash the car once every two weeks with this, than have a very dirty car that gets neglected with 'no swirl marks'… anyway that's my 2c.

Never use a brush to clean your car unless you don't care about your paint. Brushes create swirl marks and scratches like crazy. They're okay for your tyres and wheels or underneath the wheel arches but that's about it. Use a microfibre or lambswool mitt when washing panels.

ebay store is crap and annoying, none of their stuff are showing up as click and collect but I know they have it in stock and same item shows up in stock via their own website.

Projecta isn't in the same league as CTEK imo. The CTEK compact charger I use to tend the battery on my dirt bike also charges the battery in my F350 when required. Very good range of charging algorithms.

If you linked your SCA card to your purchases you are supposed to get back credit if the items you bought dropped in price within 2 weeks I think.

Did you scan your club plus card when you bought those items? Credit is only applied that way
yes. i knew i was making some major purchases (did my car servicing during the week)so i thought may as well sign up rather than keep putting it off…mainly did it for hassle free returns, this is a nice bonus tho' ;)

went in today, saw signs saying discounts for RACQ (I live in Qld) and NRMA members. So I assume auto club members are RACV RACQ NRMA RAA RAC RACT and AAA members.
My car battery is over 3 years old. Do you think I should buy one and save it for when necessary. I don't know how much longer the current battery will last as it is out of warranty and when the mechanic tested it recently he said the voltage was low but passable.

Cheers OP, just bought the kingcrome 3000kg workshop trolley jack! Still expensive, but it never goes out on special, and is low enough to go under one car and high enough to jack up the 4wd! 😁
