Just received a call this morning, while I was on the way to work, from a trusted source that was right in the past about (3 out 5 times).

They are claiming that their friend's hairdresser sister was walking her dog with her best friend last night and her best friend told them that there will be 15% Site wide. Possibly starting today. I have no further details so don't ask.

It seems somewhat hard to believe due to the number of coupons that were floated this month but I thought I'd share it anyway. I possibly risk the largest number of negs if it's not coming to fruition but I'll take the punt to give my friends at ozbargain a heads up.

        It will apply. Click add to cart instead of buy now to not commit. Go all the way to the second last step where there will be a box at the bottom to enter the code

        You must ADD TO CART - do not "BUY IT NOW.

        Then go to shopping cart and proceed to Checkout.

        If the code doesn't work, you back out, go to Cart and delete the item.

    As usual, they are pulling out some items… This morning I checked an 55' UHD TV, that is $995, buy it, applied code, worked. Got dragged into a meeting, checked the missus about buying it, came back "This code can't be applied to some of your items"…

    Same goes to any MacBookPro. You search for MacBook pro, they give you a banner to click and purchase the ones you can apply the code, you apply the code and "This code can't be applied to some of your items"

      Did you buy it or didn't you buy it? Why did you pay if the discount wasn't applied? Why would you need a refund if you haven't paid yet?

      I presume you meant 'close the accounts' after you've received the items with no issues.
      Otherwise, by closing it prior, you might not be able to resolve any issues like damaged goods/missing items/etc.

        Validation can be a pain with Paypal. So yes, use in your own name as you may have to supply drivers license and passport to verify your address and identity.

        Did exactly that for a transaction in USD (ebay.com), when my primary ebay account had already been used for a AUD purchase.

      It took 5 days for the CashRewards confirmation email to come through the last time I purchased something from Ebay - the item had actually arrived before the CW email.

      I had error codes when I went to make my first order (read about it above) I knew why but be very cautious about re-ordering too soon (maybe use a different browser) or from the same seller I would think.

          Try logging into paypal first in another window then doing that. Alternatively try changing your default payment method in paypal. I was getting the same error yesterday. It's something to do with paypal authentication.

          Thanks. Resolved with your advice. My billing address was incorrect for the default payment method. Fixed that now. But now I'm getting "This code can't be applied to some of your items…. :( The cart is $150+ and i think CODE15 should be applicable on everything…

    I've already made a purchase using the code, but forgot a few items. Added them to my cart and proceeded to checkout. Applied the code and it processes/displays the 'discount saving' but I haven't progressed further than that.

    I know it states '1 transaction per person during offer period', but was just wondering if they would enforce it.

        You will need a new ebay account and a new Paypal account. Both from the Australian domains (.com.au).
        You may have to validate the Paypal account so have drivers license and passport pictures ready.

        Once verified, you may benefit by having additional credit cards that are not used in another Paypal account, or funds in another account to transfer over.

      Yes me… :( I bought a single item with 'code15' yesterday.

      Looks like the code can only be used on a single paypal checkout only. Multiple transaction it just doesn't seem to work.

      So for maximum benefit, ensure you keep adding stuff in your cart before it hits $2000 worth then you do your single allowed checkout.

      yes you can if the product is also listed on their website as you get a receipt for local store. BEWARE you will not be protected by 30 day price guarantee though as ebay items are excluded. Learn't the hard way

      After the 15% discount it came to $1188.30, I'm pretty sure as stated above that via click and collect you still get the receipt from the shop, hence the $200 eftpos card, bringing it down to $988.30. Damn it, forgot cash rewards!

      Awesome price for a quality unit. It also gets a very good review in choice.

        fixed it, turns out you need to first select to get it delivered then once you 'proceed to checkout', it works and you can then change it to pick up in store.

        $1749 air con for $1237 ain't bad, take $200 for QLD peaksmart and CR, looking at $1014 for a $1749 unit!

    No joy for me. Everything looked liked it worked right up until after confirming the payment with PayPal. I tried to buy 4 car parts in one checkout from different sellers all in the UK, all in GBP. The coupon applied a discount but after paying eBay was supposedly waiting for the payment to process. Then 40min later the purchase failed and the amounts were refunded in PayPal.

    Tried the same items with different eBay and PayPal account and the result was the same.

    Unfortunately due to the code being one use only, I can no longer take advantage of the deal. I'm not sure what restriction was preventing the order from going through completely as there was no explanation offered from eBay/PayPal apart from the payment not working, which I don't think is a good explanation given that I tried two different accounts and I was able to pay for the items immediately afterwards without the coupon.

        Car, Bikes, Boats (9800) does not contain any of the items I was trying to buy.

        Vehicle Parts & Accessories (131,090) is the category from which I was trying to purchase items.

      Just add everything to your "cart" and once you have finished adding all the items you want to buy you can then apply the code to the whole lot. A single transaction doesn't stop you buying multiple things!

      It is not site-wide, and there are quite a few exclusions.

    Made a bit of a noob mistake didn't realise that the code could only be used once successfully applied it to a second order only to find out PayPal charged me the full amount. Rang ebay but they just stated the t&c's and 1 use per account. The woman I spoke to did say not to worry as there will be a lot of promotions coming up.

      During the payment process you are shown the invoice amount, then are asked TWICE to confirm the payment amount.

      It's not as if they "sneakily" charge you extra (full price without discount applied).
