        • I have no doubt that multiple units were bought by people. Heck, it's an easy $50 per unit after costs to resell these on eBay.

    • offer it in the forums to someone here for what you paid for it plus postage, still a good deal for someone and your dont make extra

  • Sold ouit :(

      • No $300, if one store fails to live up to it's promise is another store's opportunity to jump in and grab some customers. (Would even be better if it's under $300)

  • +2

    same deals pleaseeeeee

  • There are 2 versions of this drive. You do not want the first version it doesn't have Trim function.

Make sure if you are getting this drive it is a V2.

    • Well the desciption says gen 2.

  • +1

Wow That was lot of wish. I have told our Product manager to check it out this page.

Let's tell him what you guys want….

  • Some good quality laptop coolers wouldn't go astray (not the $5 rubbish you sometimes see).

HDD's are always a good one.

  • +5

I wish they limit to 1 per person, so the one that actually use it can enjoy the product an limit the person who actually just want to inflate prices by selling these on Ebay or elsewhere…

    • I think 1 is a little too few.
I could have used a few for my own purposes if i didnt miss out

      • +3

I think 1 would be ok
But there would be a few that would have loved to have grabbed 2 for some raid action.

2 per sale for this particular item would have been the sweet spot I think

  • +5

Agreed… a 1 per person limit would give you more happy customers…and more exposure for your business.

  • +3

hey minnie, how many people purchased in bulk? as in more than 3?

    • +1

I can't tell, But I have seen the biggest one they purchase about 25+

      Pricesengine team

      • +1

bet they are on ebay in a week for around $50 to $150 extra. I agree on the limiting, you would still sell them and would allow a lot more people to grab one. Same deal again please!!!!

      • OMG…that's almost 6K

      • +2

        25+??? That's disgusting. Greedy bastard

      • +1

Oh man, 25!?! That's just wrong…it's obviously commercial quantities and I really hope you do not allow that again for future deals. Of course I understand that for your business it's much less work to sell 25 at a time, but you are missing out on attracting new/satisfying current customers by allowing this.

      • How come you allow someone to buy that many drives at a price you cannot find elswere? I thought the main point of websites like this was to limit the purchase to 1 per buyer especially with good price and low stock?

It would have been easier for you to just contact a shop like MSY and just sell them the whole lot for the same price. Less hassle and same result.

Having said that I don't want to miss the next one. I am going to facebook and become a fan but alos let us know what else do we need to do to get this bargain?

        • The point of the website is quick profit, i am sure it is in their best interest to sell lots fast to whomever wants it.

  • Good deal but I think it's a bit hard to justify SSD on a $499 single-core laptop.

  • +2

    Same deal plz !

    • -2

Tomorrow 12 noon, The new deal will be on sale tomorrow 12 noon.
We will announce the deal on our facebook fans page tomorrow 12 noon.

      • +6

Oh no…not facebook fans again…I HATE IT!!!

        • We can only post the deal twice a week, So That is why we have to open the facebook fans page. Please understand our situation.

          Thanks

          pricesengine team

        • Yeah I second that comment

        • +2

What wrong with posting it on here at noon? I hate facebook and am not going to be joining any group.

EDIT: for what its worth I would love this same deal, Not really after anything else but if i saw this when you had stock i definitely would of bought it.

          • @rison: Go to their Facebook page at 12noon. How hard is that? You don't need to join.

          • @rison: Reps are only allowed to post two deals a week, and the mods seem to frown on editing existing deals when the available item changes.

  • +3

Should have placed a restriction on the amount you can buy. Was looking to purchase an ssd but was too late both times.

  • -4

Hey everyone let's vote on facebook fans page. If you like the idea from our Product Manager.

    Thanks
    pricesengine team

    • Thanks a lot for keeping those who are working in mind. I am sure most organisation allows the use of Facebook, Twitter etc within the corporate environment. Big thanks again for thinking outside the box rolls eyes

  • +4

Thanks, for tomorrow deal should be the same with this one :( , we really love your SSD, also please limit 1 item per customer, much better !

    Voted FB btw !

  • +1

I agree … put a limit of one of two on this deal. I would love to see you bring it back (I've been trying to get one for several weeks at a reasonable price) - recently there was a massive price increase on these in Australia. You need to keep genuine customers happy, instead of catering to those w*nkers that will purchase 25 and put them on eBay with a considerable markup.

  • +2

Yes, please put amount restriction (maybe 2 or 3) if not 1 item per person.
This way, you will get greater exposure to your website and a lot more satisfied customer…

  • +4

A crappy Lcd instead of our awesome intel SSD, kkthxbb

  • Please put up the 160GB Intel X25-M V2!! 80Gb is not enough… 160GB is the sweet spot for all of my Steam games.

    • Why not just buy 2 80 gbs?
Cheaper and faster too(with RAID 0 or whatever… I'm no techie).

      • That won't really be possible with most laptops.

        • You can't game on most laptops either.

        • SSD aren't just for laptops. Heaps of enthusiest put SSD's into their desktops to decrease loading times, especially when you first boot up your computer.
Only problem with RAID0 is that if one drive fails you lose all your data. Although running two of these in RAID0 would be faster than a sinlge 160GB you have twice the chance of losing your data. Everything comes at a price, speed or data security. But then again with those who do use SSD's they would definately have a separate data drive anyway, since most SSD's don't have the space for storage. So yeah there's really no harm to have two or more SSD's in RAID setup to increase speed even more, just as long as you only install your OS and programs on it with no vital data stored on it.

          • @Trance N Dance: I already know that you can use it for Desktops. However, I was merely pointing out the relevance of a single higher capacity drive than multiple drives. I currently have a 500GB drive on my laptop and would find 80GB a bit too low on capacity for my personal needs. I understand that it should suffice for general usage, but if you're like me and make your laptop your primary computer, more applications will demand for more and more space.

As for games, I don't really care. I have a lot of different apps on my notebook (since I use it for work too) and can tell you now that it will definitely surpass 80GB alone on installs.

  • I am happy with the same deal for the same price, please put it up~~~~
