    Probably not but I will ask anyway… are there any cheap flights over the Christmas holiday period (mid December to mid January)?

      The sale is meant to be for travel: 1 February - 10 April 2017, 19 April – 6 July 2017, and 12 July – 21 September 2017

      However, I have found plenty of cheap dates outside that (eg in November). So the answer is "maybe, depending on your route".

    How does these fares work? And to those who have booked to these type of deals - Is there any luggage allowance or any hidden cost etc.

    I've also noticed that there is a departing and a returning date, are these showned here are examples or can I select my preferred returning date and still able to keep the price range shown here?

      Luggage is extra i believe, but it's still a very good deal for most flights

      Hi Tuannie,

      The prices listed here are for return flights, hand-luggage only and paid using POLi. Checked luggage is extra, and there is a small fee if you pay using a credit card. As Xizor said, they are still great prices.

      I have shown example dates that have the chheapest prices, but there are a lot more dates available. You can either enter your own dates or click the main links (eg (Melbourne to Bali)[http://iwantthatflight.com.au/x2MELDPS-Flights-from-Melbourne-Tullamarine-to-Denpasar-Bali.aspx?po=all&airlineslike=JQ&ozb=70] ) and you will be shown lots more dates that we have found.

          Click on pay by POLi, which takes you to your internet banking site where you login and pay by funds transfer. ie pay by cash.

          My wife is from Japan so we go back most years and always fly with Jetstar, if they stopped doing their deals from Sydney I don't think we could go so often.

    Do Jetstar only offer a certain amount of sale seats per flight? E.g the website says 'only 1 seat left at this price' but when I booked other seats there's plenty of seats left.

      Yes, they may only have say 10 seats per flight at the discount price or whatever, rest will be normal price.

      Yeah we are sweating a bit because we bought the tickets anyway even though I had my leave approved but my boyfriend's hasn't been yet :x things seem positive for him getting it off but it's still in the back of my mind. We had to pay an extra $50 each from hesitating too much and losing out on the cheaper flights but still decent. less than $400 each for bangkok return with seat selection and baggage.

    Booked Mel/Bali yesterday for $249 per person return end of May. Happy with that. Have booked hotels through Cheap tickets before. They regularly have 18% of codes for use. Just remember they quote in $USD, but do have good deals if you do your research.
