OPSM is owned by the sunglasses companies, it's a real cartel. They adjust prices to suit insurance rebate. Better off buying online.

  There's nothing remotely cartel-like about a company retailing the products they own and manufacture - it's called vertical integration. I challenge you to substantiate your claim that OPSM adjusts their prices to suit insurance rebates.

I normally just go in to glasses shop and try on frames, then get bulk billed prescription, when they are not looking take photo of model number inside arm of the frames I like. Clearly contacts is a reliable company, but are many others.

Opsm are a rip off. Optical superstore are better value I find. Mind you the same frame at optical superstore wil vary in price depending on what you are wearing and what you look like you can afford. I had two prices from two different staff. Unfortunately I did not get the quotes in writing.
