If people stopped buying these low res displays they would stop putting them on laptops.

      Same goes with AMD processor

    • This comes up everytime, either get this one at this price or pay extra for FHD. Not everyone gives a shit.

  • Dell seems to put crappy HD displays in 99% of its laptops.

Anything with a decent display is expensive.

    • Yeah even a lot of the business class Latitude by default comes with 1366x768 displays. Well i know that the Latitude 3000 series does it's the only resolution choice. As for the 5000 series the default is 1366x768 resolution.

  • Good for kids as a backup for learning…

  • some people dont care about high quality / high resolution LCD panels .
My mum checking her facebook, gmail , and looking at cat memes doesnt.
So $600 as opposed to $1000 is a big difference to her.
Me, it would drive me nuts in 5 minutes.
    Horses for courses…

I bought one of these for my 88 year old neighbour about 6 months ago, he absolutely loves it.

These dont suit everyone, but they do suit a lot of people, those on a budget especially.
