Bose QC35 $427 Delivered @ VideoPro

130

Price reduction down from $447 at VideoPro currently, possibly only for today while the click frenzy is on, lowest price in Aus Currently for Australian Stock + Warranty. They have had a very stable price for quite a while now except for the insane price at Catch of the Day ($339) so this could be the lowest we see for a bit. Not the best discount we've ever seen but a bargain none the less.

Happy shopping!

this being a bargain @ ~$90 more really shows how crazy of a price COTD was

(was lucky enough to get one of them too)

  • A mate of mine got these for $400 at JB Hi-Fi.

He must have been very lucky to get them for $400 at JB, they constantly have a $499 RRP, even Myer didn't include the QC series in their 20% off sale. These haven't been below $440 (Buymac) for quite a while as the margin is quite low for retailers from what I've seen.

      • I guess so. He negotiates well.

    • That would have been before JB HIFI caught on with the Myer receipt that someone had.

Standard haggling at Jb hifi is $470
Professional haggling at Jb hifi is $450 (what i managed to get it for heh)

I picked up the Sonys the other day over the Bose. Way better.

    • +2

oh really? headphones with a $200 higher RRP are better?

    • do you mind letting us know what you had to pay for them - assume its their recent high end wireless with ANC.

        • cheers - really interesting discussion and I'll keep an eye out for the Sony's in future ozbargains

        • @idyllboy:

Yep I paid $493 for mine and picked them up from my local store.

2 days before I took advantage of the Vpay Amex so was going to use that however went to coles and bought $500 JB Gift Cards on my Plat Edge (1500pts) then used that to buy the Sonys.

I'm out of the country on Monday so already got my TRS info sorted.

          Happy days.

    • I bought the Sony MDR1000X the other day as well.

Previously tried the Bose QC35s, didn't have as much volume and sounded a little flat. I don't think the Sony's are quite as comfortable though.

Sony additional things like adaptive noise cancelling and also being able to mute music to listen to someone talking to you with a hand gesture is worth it. International flight tomorrow so I'll see how they fare with noise cancelling on the plane.

    • I tried the Sony cans mdr1000 at JB today. Nothing to see there! The jb hifi guy said its tiny that's why so cheap. He also preferred the qc35. I'm waiting for a decent price under $400

Funny my sales person said the same thing. I asked her when was the last time she travelled with NC headphones.. she couldn't tell me.

I do 10+ international trips a year. I've had Bose for the last 5 years and just didn't like the QC35s.

Trip to Brisbane this weekend then China on Monday so the Sonys will get a good test.

  • any deal with AMEX card on this?

    • harvey norman price match? pay with AMEX?

      • harvey norman don't sell these?

  • I gave in and bought these from eBay for $440 after failing miserably with COTD deal, I do think the COTD was a very rare thing.

  • Last eBay deal was the best deal apart from COTD limited deal.

not really a bargain. just a slight variation of videopro's price. thats it.

    • +2

Find a cheaper local price then.

      • -1

No one stops you from getting the qc35 at this price. And I don't need to look for a "cheaper local price". I already got a pair at a bargain price.
        The negger… Lmfao

          • from me too, because this is the best price ATM.
