        When I price matched the BigW deal for $299, I bought a pen to make up the difference to $301. But your suggestion is much more sensible. :P

          I tried to price match it at HN Adelaide store, they tried the following to get out of it.
          1. That's the old model we don't stock it (point them to their website)
          2. We don't have any stock or we'd price match it (point them to their shelf)
          3. It's a different bundle because Big W give you an extra game
          (ask for the item without the extra game)
          4. It's not an identical item so we just won't price match it.

          Can't wait for these clowns to inevitably go the way of Dodgy Dick.

          @pennyless: that's crap. One store did the same with me. Second the guy didn't want to put the game in but I was fine with it. He then threw Halo in instead which was nice of him.

          That's quite shocking, sometimes i think it's the attitude of the sales rep - some will be OK and ask the question to the store manager, or even owner, whereas others can't be bothered …

          I bought 4x Spectre X360s from HN when they first came out and 2 weeks later found out they had a 'bundle' deal (Office365, bag, mouse, 32GB USB) with from the manufacturer, and asked the comp section manager to call the franchisee/owner to give me 1x bundle for free. They did it.

          Keep insisting and dont give up, especially when you know you're right! Sorry to hear it didnt work out.

    Lol! Last time I bought this bundle in Bigw for $298 with an extra lego minecraft game. It was a good bargain and sold quickly. Not sure if it is still attractive at this point of time.

    Nice. They finally price matched BiGW sort of. Just a matter of finding stock. When I price matched BigW the other week, they only had one console left at that store. The nearest store only had two.

      This is HN we're talking about. They probably will now with the amex deal bringing it to $188 though. Cheapest console I've ever purchased by a long shot. I laughed when I saw the price on the new S model. $500 for the 1tb version!

          @praga: The 3.5mm was included in controllers before the S model released. What's new to the S model's controller is the Bluetooth support.

    Went to pick up my console guy gauranteed the game download token in the box signed for it so the console was mine and openned it infront of him no token so he went out the back and brought me a full Fifa 17 download token score.. Used AMEX aswell double score :) Thanks OP!!

      My understanding is that enrolments for the deal have closed, but if you are already enrolled, you are good to go. You can anyway check your activated deals on the AMEX web site. My only problem with this deal is that my local store doesn't have stock, so I'd have to pay extra $14.95 for shipping.

      2016 is the first time I have seen HN and AMEX doing cash rebates … other OZB can correct me if they saw this type of stuff pre2016?!

      Also think you'd have to be very lucky to get a console deal AND the AMEX rebate at the same time… as you might get the AMEX but not the console deal. So that may be a tradeoff … good luck man!

      I was told by Harvey Norman staff that the token is inside the box, I opened it in front of them and no token so they gave me a Fifa 17 token instead that they had from the xbox one s deal..
