Noticed this today at the Bunnings in Gawler, SA.
Confirmed with the staff that it is the price for a new, full, 8.5kg BBQ gas bottle, and not the refil price.
Cheapest I've seen one for some time. Would get one myself, but already have the in-use and spare.
The local convenience shop in our SA country town charges $50 for a swap. I only made that mistake once 😀

I'd just like to say, for those who aren't aware, from the look of the ticket this is a price reduction effective until the 27th of November 2016 which it will then be taken down back to regular price (unless they extend it).
So why not go to your local council recycle centre get them to give you a decent looking empty gas bottle and then exchange it??? You only pay $20 for the exchange!

Can confirm that it is available at the Mile End (Adelaide). Just picked up a second bottle so I never have to waste any gas by swapping before it's completely empty or running out mid bbq!
Car wash at Golden Grove SA does $19 refill 9kg and $35swap for old out of date containers. BP is $39 swap and go !
That's very cheap. I paid closer to $60 at Box Hill a few weeks ago
