      We should summon TA !!

      • +2

Anyone know the ritual for that?

        • +5

          The clench-dance… so I've heard.

        • Bend over

          You'll find out soon enough

        • @storyteller: OK… now what do I do? He still hasn't shown up…

        • @ProjectZero:

Use red paint to create a target. Obviously the bullseye would not (yet) be red.

        • Actually TA is associated with cash rewards I think. I saw him did a bargain with a eBay seller last time.

        • @Louis89: I believe TA is the creator of cashrewards

        • @Agret:
          Nope. They approached him iirc.

  • A smashing price for a local 1080. I've been telling myself to hold off for a sub $800 price on a 1080. Early christmas present maybe?

      Partly - eBay fees

    • Intel core i7 6700k $539 on shopping express (ebay)

      Minus 20% = $431.20 delivered.

Intel core I7 6700K $458 on Shopping express main store

Plus $9.20 postage to Sydney = $467.20 delivered.

      Why.

      Because not everyone understands Mathematics.

      http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=6700k&spos=…

      Decision too difficult for you?

      • Didn't know mathematics was involved when I wanted to know why they have difference price listing on two stores.

        • because Ebay charges 10% seller commission, maybe a bit less for bulk sellers, but they charge commission.
The discounts aren't from the seller, they are from Ebay.

So yes, often the store price is cheaper than normal Ebay price …. hence need the %off

  • Gahhhdammit, just pulled the trigger and bought the 1080 Windforce OC from Futu for $807.

Any chance I'll be able to cancel it and re order from shopping express?

    • They're actually the same store, best to contact them and ask.

      • Thanks man, didn't know they were associated.

Sent through an email via Ebay, will wait and see how it goes.

        • It might be faster to contact them through the phone, the Shopping Express number can be found on this page. Just explain to them on the phone what you told us, hopefully it goes well!

        • @moneybaby:

Yeah got through to em via email, they cancelled the old order and i just put in the new stuff via Shopping Exrpress.

  • How does the archer vr600 compare to the d7?

    • Better I believe - it is the newer model

      • Thank you, another noob question, the tp link will be better than the slightly cheaper netgear D6200?

  • PCByte is offering the GTX 1080 for $1 cheaper. This is unfortunately going to be a no deal for me.

    • +4

i think this deal includes shipping which makes it cheaper for everyone who cant use the pickup option ..

      good deal btw :)

      • Oh I forgot about the shipping. Thanks for pointing it out!

      • Upvote for username

  • Can anyone tell me the difference between the 1080 Windforce OC edition vs the G1 Gaming, i couldn't really find many reviews on Google.

    • I think the WF runs at a lower clock speed than the G1.

      • +1

Ah cool thanks, i ended up re ordering the G1 Gaming edition anyways.

  • -edit nevermind

  • I reckon some SSD's will be cheaper on Black Friday

  • Any chance on a discount on the u2515?

  • Dammit own a GTX970 and just puchased a GTx1080

  • For a second there I thought it was GTX 780 for $1080

  • I've been looking at 980ti cards and they seem to run around $500 to $600 for things like the EVGA Hybrid etc second hand. I was getting annoyed that I was potentially looking at getting a cheaper card until the 1080 prices dropped lower than $1000, with this deal I can buy new and get the card I want sooner! Cheers!

  • Hi OP, any deal on Logitech MX800? Any chance you can pricematch previous deal 4 months ago? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/257015

    • Sure you don't want to knock a few hundred off the 960 Pro?

    • Please reply to my message regarding return and refund.

      Thanks

  • Has anyone received their 1080 G1 yet? I am still waiting for any confirmation from SE regarding it even being posted after buying it on the 22nd :S

    • Nope they're taking AGES to ship. Futu shipped my order the next day.

      • +1

Yeah i called them today. They said there order didnt arrive last week so they are waiting for it to arrive and as such no cards have been sent out. Wish they had mentioned that it was on backorder and i would have got the futu deal instead.

        • Oh man that sucks. Yeah wish they had said it wasn't in stock. I bought this from SE too (my Futu order was for other items).

  • Mine's been shipped however I'm still waiting for it. For some reason it says 'in transit' even though it's arrived at my DC. And god knows why they used Aus Post for to ship $2000+ worth of equipment. Here's hoping it arrives safely.
