  • Cheers OP, been waiting for a decent price on the 275gb model for a while now. This is too good to pass up & I can use my 'US$20 promotional certificate' from the M/C promo….

damn it! I have to stop Christmas shopping for myself and actually get stuff for my wife and family!

  • Awesome deal! bought one. Thanks!

  • Wow sick price for a 750GB SSD. Retails around 250-260AUD. Hasn't charged my card yet though, that normal with Amazon?

    • Same here.

    • +1

Yes, Amazon only charges the card once the item is shipped.

      • Okay thanks for the info.

    • same here. I have paid already but they hasn't charged me yet.

  • This is the black Friday deals we have been waiting for.

  • Can I install it in my Mac Pro mid 2014?

    • +1

If you are asking that question… then my guess is that you almost certainly don't have the skillz to do it.

  • +1

    Don't need one…bought one anyway…

    • +1

You my friend are a true ozbargainer.

  • Not availiable

  • what happened? It says "We're sorry. The item Crucial MX300 750GB SATA 2.5 Inch Internal Solid State Drive - CT750MX300SSD1 is no longer available from the seller you selected. To see if it's available from another seller, click here to return to the item's product detail page."

    • That means It sold out from the vendor selling it at this price (I assume Amazon). Other sellers may offer the same item which is why you are offered a redirect, but their prices will vary.

  • Missed out damn it.

  • Reckon they'll get more stock because it was the deal of the day with ~22hrs left?

    • +2

hope so. keep hitting f5 from now

      • Order one for me too thanks, going to call it a night (damn my biological body)

  • Hi experts.. can you please suggest if this will work with this Acer laptop? Thanks in advance! Model number is Acer ES1-411-C1WD.

    • Should do.

    • Hi experts.. can you please suggest if this will work with this Acer laptop?

Hi laptop owner.. can you please flip laptop over, open the place where drives fit, and take look.

However, that's just the installation - you have to migrate the operating system and everything else across to the new SSD.

So that is what you need to concern yourself with.

BTW - this is a standard 2.5" SSD and will fit any laptop. Whether you can get it to work is something nobody but you can answer.

      • You can always get a 2.5'' caddy to put your old drive in and install clean fresh windows OS on new SSD ;)

        • Unfortunately old/original one has got damaged.. so now I will have one and only (SSD). :)

  • Still have 4 unused new SSD's from previous ozbargain deals sitting around. This will make 5.

    • Depending on what they are, I'd be happy to buy one of them off you!

I just missed out on this deal

  • I ordered 2, one from my account and one on my girlfriends. They cancelled the second order, I should not have used the same credit card.

  • Shipped already too. Great work amazon.

  • Thank you I bought one in time :)

  • The price is gone up to $255 AUD.

  • Hi, this is a question about delivery of this item by Amazon. The offer has expired now but when it was active I added the item to my cart. On viewing my Amazon cart, message displayed that item would not ship to my (Australian) address. How is it possible that all those who purchased on ozbargain were able to have it delivered to an australian address? Cheers.

    • The original stock was fulfilled by Amazon and deliverable to Australia. They are now out of stock, so the item in your cart is now being fulfilled by a third party, which does not ship to Australia.

      • thanks CDM. That sounds reasonable. However just to test that scenario, I am on an Amazon web page for a Crucial MX300 525gb drive. On the page it states
        "In Stock.
This item ships to FADDEN, Australia. Want it Wednesday, Nov. 30? Order within 13 hrs 25 mins and choose AmazonGlobal Priority Shipping at checkout. Learn more
Ships from and sold by Amazon.com in easy-to-open packaging. Gift-wrap available."

I then add item to cart.
On viewing cart and clicking estimate shipping and tax

"Some of the items in your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Please select a new address to see your estimated order total."

        • Do you still have the 750GB drive in your cart? That might be the reason.

        • @cdm: No I always clear items one by one when that message is displayed.

      • CDM, further to our discussion. I get the "In Stock… Ships to … address", then from the Cart, "cannot ship to selected address" frequently. What is possibly happening is the item was available for international delivery on the initial listing of the item, and item fulfillment/availability information at a future time is not updated again until you place the item in your cart. However I do not see other Ozbargainers querying this problem.

  • arrived today nice, time to clone

  • +1

Arrived in Perth today with standard delivery. 1 week earlier than I was expecting.

  • Sigh….another instance of "you get what you paid for". I hope the bios update fixes my freezing problem
