This is the last day of the month.

  • Cool story :)

  • +17

you expect me to believe that your friends hairdressers sister has a dog????? im not that stupid thank you

    • +20

well.. this comment confused me until i looked at the edit revisions

      • thanks Chickenleg, I was about to go crazy trying to figure out what it meant. Could've been the promo code but decrypted for all you know

      • True. Neil is not funny anymore…

        • +12

False. I was never funny. :|

        • @neil: True. Mr.BNeanl

  • +9

Somebody at eBay must have just remembered that they need to start a new deal as soon as the old one expires.

  • Here we go again!

    • +28

Stop complaining. I never complain about getting discounts.

    • Ozbargainers will never buy anything without this. The general public still will and they sellers count their profits to the bank

    • I vote for a ebay 20% off deal wiki page to stop the barrage of:

      • can I use my voucher ?
-can I buy now and pay within sale period ?
-they don't deliver to me - why not?
      • its a goodguys sale, so what other stores are participating?
      • can I return something I just purchased and cash in on the deal ?
      • will other stores match ?
      • does their price match / refund guarantee apply to ebay sales ?
      • I cant be bothered reading the terms and conditions, does anyone know the answer……..?
        etc
etc other rubbish questions that constantly fill these threads! :)

id be surprised if by the end of the time its taken me to type this one hasn't appeared below!!

eBay FAQ already the bottom of the deal description and below. Feel free to add to it.

eBay FAQ - Read this before asking a question

Can't you just read the OP and click on that link? It's not too hard is it? Its the 2nd entry!!!

      • +2

@TheClipIt Your first link doesn't actually answer the question they asked. Your other link partially does, but it is still a relevant question which I have had personal experience with, so could provide and answer based on the one store I got to price match.

    • -1

      Nope. eBay pay the 20%.

      • +10

eBay only cover part of it, not the whole 20%.

      • Why would you think they cover it?

        • Because he's one of Santa's Reindeer, who know stuff

        • Because they get traffic to eBay by it being advertised?

    • +3

I got a Good Guys store to price match 20% off eBay Good Guys deal in store when I purchased a fridge several months ago.

      • thanks mate

      • Does it work for Tvs?

        • I'm sure it varies store to store, and person to person.

    • For the benefit of others who are interested to find out the answer - Here is a user who had successfully matched TGG eBay pricing at TGG Store. I guess its possible but it really depends on the sales person and the item that you'd like to buy.

      • +1

Mostly you will be rejected to match ebay 20%off deal.

It definitely break the PriceMatch T&C.

        Here you see:

We do not Price Beat for advertising errors, prices which include bonuses, limited or group buy offers, clearance products, promo code and finance offers, or cash backs and discounts including where offered directly by a supplier or a third party. Does not apply to items sold on marketplace websites such as eBay, to The Good Guys own pricing or any brand it sells on behalf of a third party supplier under an agency agreement. These terms and conditions are subject to change.

    • +1

@RockMeLoOn: Really harsh world. Generally TGG store will not price match their ebay store. You can try asking any store and see your luck. The last 20% off good guys, I went to Myer and the Manager saw I was interested and offered my 20% any non sale TV. The LG 55 OLED TV was a good price with 20% off as TGG Ebay didn't have it listed anymore.

  • is there a way to redeem Good guys concierge price shield credits they send to your mobile?

    • +1

      Not on eBay

  • +1

Typo in title, Should be Transactions

  • +6

GoPro Hero5 Black at $431.20 will be the cheapest I've seen if they don't bump up the price.

  • +2

Nobody picked up on the "Transcations"??

EDIT: Someone beat me by 30 seconds.

  • Anyone have a good suggestion for a fan for summer hopefully to cool my room for under $100 - $120?

    • +7

      kmart .. 10 bucks ..

      • +2

        Not cool..

        • +11

Not cool, or not a good deal… or are you just NOT A FAN?!? XD

    • I am looking to buy one of this

      • I went to TGG to take a look at Convair fan and it looked ugly to me. Now I am leaning towards buying Vornado from DJ who also have 20% off promo running ATM.

    • maybe not your use because of the form factor, but I got this one a few weeks ago http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Omega-Altise-OHV40C-40cm-Chro… because this was the only floor fan they had in their store that was a 60 watt motor. The others all had 100+ watt which was too expensive to keep on full time.

      • Are you happy with it so far? Any pros&cons?

        • it is fine. on lowest setting it blows more air than my cheapo pedestal fan when at max, all while generating about the same amount of noise. so I am happy with it. (do note the timbre of the noise is a slight tonally higher).

i keep mine at a medium distance of about 2 metres & lowest setting, and it is enough for now.

also the grills are wider so it doesn't collect dust as easily like cheapo pedestal fan.

        • Thanks for these info.

  • Do we have to wait till 5pm to 'Buy it Now'? Or can we buy it now and then checkout later when the 20% code is active?

  • +2

    no fantastic tv deals.

the 60" 6000 series Sammy has taken a hit in recent weeks and at $1800 less 20% represents reasonable value @ $1440 (although reviews are mixed with allot of negs.
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Samsung-UA60KU6000W-60-152cm-…

the coveted Hisense 70" 7000 series @ $2800 less 20% = $2240 is good, but not all time low
Plenty of discussion on this board and whirlpool/av forums for those interested in doing their research.
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Hisense-70M7000UWG-70-177cm-U…

overall I think the last binglee special on the 8500 series Sammy in 65" ($2639) was better value?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/277155

    • Oh wow, that KS8500 price is bonkers! Didn't know about it although it wouldn't have mattered since there's no BingLee in WA :(

    • LG 55" OLED 55EG910T is a good deal @ $2236.

      • +1

Still a lot of money for a 1080P TV, as great as it is.

        • Personally I'd get a 1080p OLED over a 4K LCD any day. Infinity:1 contrast ratio, 180 degree viewing angle and 0.002 ms response time contributes a lot more to picture quality than extra pixels, especially in smaller sizes like 55".

    • KS8000 55" for $1996 is pretty decent isn't it?
Nowhere near as good as the 65" 8500 but pretty close to the price I saw at JB about a month ago.

      • yeah, admittedly I've only been looking at 60"+

    • I was hoping for a new tv but prices were better during the 10% off ebay promotion :(

  • Any mobile offers

    • Motorola Moto Z works out to be $799.20. Same price as DWI (without delivery) but still $110 more than Clove (delivered).
Still, local stock and warranty is worth considering.

      Moto Z Play for $560

Nothing else really jumping out at me…

  • +1

Time for a new oven and stove methnks.

    • +1

      Try Domain Appliances…

      Much better value for money.

      • Cheers, will give it a look.

        • +4

Better still look at EU Appliances. They sell premium euro ovens, cooktops etc for less than half the local price, and offer an optional 1 or 2 year extended warranty. No manufacturer warranty, but at that price it is worth it. I recently bought an AEG induction cooktop for AU$999 delivered within 6 days from Hungary using Fedex, compared to $2249 locally. Brilliant customer service.

  • great deals,

just as an side, thegoodguys is now under Jb hi-fi.
    http://www.skynews.com.au/business/business/company/2016/11/…

the "deal" has just recently been completed…

    • +1

Dicks gone, good guys under JB. So it's JB vs Binglee in terms of electrical.

      • +2

        And HN, and OW.

      • +2

I reckon they'll all be gone once Amazon moves in. They might have to sell under Amazon website like how they are selling under Ebay now. Probably Ebay and Amazon will be the big two in the near future. Finally prices will be competitive and retailers like Harvey and gang won't be able to hold us consumers for ransom anymore. Really looking forward to online shopping when that happens.

        • +3

I'm really looking forward to ebay getting their ass handed to them by amazon.

If only we could do the same thing with Afailure Post and their ridiculous postage costs!!

      • Bing Lee is also (almost) only in NSW. Although in WA we have Retravision + Kambo's in addition to HN + JB.

        • but i thought retravision was thebiggestretailerofelectricalappliancesexclamationmark

        • @furythree:

I always thought they were the retailer of the biggest electrical appliances..

  • Do we still get 1.25% cashrewards?

    • +2

Don't see any reason why you wouldn't

    • +1

      Believe so.

    • Yes, can't see why you wouldn't.

      • +1

Because the coupon isn't posted on cashrewards website yet. It might work by evening.

        • Yeah that's fair. Every other eBay deal (that I've used) has been compatible with CR, so it should be fine.

  • Is Mac excluded?

    • +8

Nope, feel free to buy any of the Macs that are listed on their eBay page…

    • +2

Excluded from their eBay page, yes. 😜

  • +1

Based on previous deals (selected, sitewide, selected, sitewide), I'm hoping there will be another sitewide deal after this one ends and hopefully 15% this time.

  • I would never pay full price at TGG when you can get it for permanently 20% off on eBay.

    • +2

But it does depends on what you're after. Their eBay store doesn't seem to stock everything that's on their normal online store.

    • +1

There's never any stock on anything good so ur logic is flawed lol

  • +3

    Oh nice!

That means the Miele C3 Cat & Dog Vacuum is 20% off again.

I remember seeing the post on 11/10/16, but I couldn't decide at the time.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/270111

    • yeah me too but the price is not as low as before :(

      • Oh yeah… darn! I just checked.

        • Combination with this free bags offer arguably makes it a better deal though, as long as the store doesn't muck you around when trying to claim. Today's the last day of that promotion, and it says it applies to orders placed during the promotion period.

  • -1

    Let the price hike begins!!!

    • From memory, good guys have always been pretty fair with these promotions.

      • -2

Yes before but now TGG is JB's little bitch.

    • Unsure why people neg you when you're right, they just lifted the price of their 2.5kw LG split system air con by $100 since yesterday.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/279442

Could get it for $582 yesterday, look at todays price.

      • Possibly 2 TGG employees. XD

  • No V6 Absolute…

    • Get v8 .. v6 is cheap now cause its the superseded model..

      • V6 is still better value if you can vacuum the whole house under 20 mins.

        • I respectively disagree.

I see a value to the quieter engine and bin emptying resdesign.

It's a nicer vac to use than my V6 Fluffy.

The extra run time is enough for me to pretty much negate my bigger vac.

Yeah it won't clean as well as a Miele, but I will settle for good enough.

  • Prices should increase by 5:00..!

  • I was waiting for this to buy the rear speakers of my Samsung soundbar. They are at $169 normally and just now saw them at $99. Bought them straightaway. I think they are going up before this promotion.
