    • That is a Bit Sad..!!!

I got to the end of the process and it said OOPS..!!!

Now they are sold out and I disappointed like the rest..!!!

ARE ANYMORE GOING TO BE PUT UP..!!!

  • freaking session time out..hahaha oh well you gotta be in it to win it they say.

is hoping that maybe just one little magical drive manages to work its way onto the website saying "hornoscous! buy me buy me!"

  • “Pricesengine’s stock system makes sure that each person who goes to paypal
after clicking on the express checkout button has a stock reserved for him/her so he/she
can smoothly confirm the purchase after getting back from paypal without being
denied of the purchase just because there is no more stock available. In the same way, it also makes the
buying process much quicker as you won’t need to specify any quantity again at the confirmation page.
But a problem which arises from this is when a buyer clicks on the checkout button, goes to paypal and decides not to continue the purchase which
leaves the stock reserved for him/her floating. So we now have to manually put these floating stock back to the available stock after a reasonable waiting time.”

    PricesEngine team

Your system crashes or reallocated the stock after i went through paypal confirmed then went back to your site but it gives me a opps error. If the stock is truely reserved can i get the 2 that gave me the error?

    • system will reserve the stock once you have click on the checkout button.

It's maybe the problem is from PayPal. Our IT team are still review this issues currently.

But that is happen to some of the customer I think.

  • So many negative things i want to say but it's not worth the trouble. I’ve wasted enough time on their deals already with zero success.

  • why oh why price engine deals always a massacre.
never got a chance to pick a deal from them yet.
server busy.. sold out…server busy..eat lunch.

because this particular deal is dirt cheap… dont expect them to build a website as good as ebay…

      • +2

A good website needs time. We are try to do our best on it.

  • +1

Maybe you need to increase your prices so less people are intesested hehe

    • fma007, totally not a good idea… :)

  • It's always have chance.

But the stock limit is true. We can''t ensure everyone can get what they like every time but we can keep try our best to bring the good deal to everyone.

  • MINNIEWU since so many people clicked on them only to be denied.. Would seem you still have a lot of stock..
are you going to try another time today or is that the end of it Sir….

    • +1

We are running out of the stock but our product manager told me that. We will doing some HDD deal next week as well. Maybe you can try next week some time.

1TB is too small these day, give us 2TB instead.

  • Got one about 15minutes ago :)

  • Sigh miss it again…

  • Hello MinnieWu…

Can you please help clarify? Have just received an email from customer service about cancelling one of my orders as I had purchased 2 hard-drives for a raid set-up. And that there is apparently a limit of 1 per Paypal account in the T&C's? Have just gone through the T&C's and have not found such a condition.

Hopefully I'm not now left with only one of the hard-drives that I wanted to put into the raid set-up…

Can you please help to clarify the situation…?

    • Was just an enquiry and I get a -ve…

      • it look like you are greedy

      • 1 per paypal account, same as last time

      • +4

How many people read the T&Cs anyways? It would have to be an expensive item for me to bother.

      • Okay… My bad then… Was not very clear with the latest deals… Would be good if it was a little clearer for everyone…

Like I said, purchased two for a raid set-up… Not like I was purchasing a whole heap to set-up a server or to resell or anything…

    • +1

actually we don't really say 1 per paypal account for every deal it depends. That is why we don't put it in our T&C.

because this will be unfair to other customer if we give process your order. I believe our system has been setup one per customer for HDD deal.

      • Hello Minnie…

Thanks for the reply… Since it wasn't made clear during the deal and it's not in the T&C's as per the email states, there was no real justification for cancelling the order after the offer had ended and the payment was made was there?

Anyways, will ask the question on how many allowed for any future deals…

  • +1

re stock reporting issue, why don't you put something like a 2 minute countdown timer once someone clicks 'add to cart'? this way others reload page every 2 minutes and check stock levels

  • well i'm giving this a positive - i don't need one, i don't want one, but it is a great deal despite the site problems. I'm going to give them credit for offering the deal and improving the site since last time as there are far fewer whinge posts. They haven't got it right yet, but they are getting there.
Looking forward to their site getting better and better as i am sure it will.

  • Does it need to be plugged into mains power? Or is it just usb powered?
    Thanks

    • Fail. It's an internal drive, from the picture.

      • are you serious??

        • are you? it's so obvious that it's an internal drive (from the pic, the description, and then other people's comments on here) that I don't see how anyone could think it's an external or portable hdd….is there anything anywhere saying external or portable? saying USB or eSATA? (note eSATA is "external" SATA…implying SATA without an "e" is probably internal)…

          god I hope you're just kidding around…

          • -1

@salem: Might need to read that again buddy, i was talking about 1sambam1 thinking it was and ext drive…

            • +1

@lukelegend: Ah. That might have been clearer if you'd replied to 1sambam1's comment, instead of replying to cwongtech's comment :)

  • oops repost

    • The drive is 3.5" for internal use. If you put it in an external enclosure it will require a power pack. If you put it inside your PC it will require a SATA power connector.

  • First post, it's a great deal, the website isn't the prettiest thing I have seen though is quick and easy to use.

  • Thanks Minnie Pricesengine and poster!
It was an awesome deal and becoming my favorite site, keep it coming!!!
PS Can you please ship it well padded, I have been told they are poorly packed as we don't want too many DOA's from getting knocked about, which is bad for everyone.
    Cheers!

    • Thanks for your comment. We will keep going on it.

      Thanks~

  • Is there another deal today?

    • No deal on weekend.

      Thank you ~

  • Received mine today … packaging seems to be ok, certainly fast delivery. Cheers.

    • Received mine as well. Packaging better than expected considering some of the other comments. Very happy!!!!

  • Received one of mine, the other order seems to have gone awol.

Anyone else not received there drives yet? Mine hasn't been processed nor refunded according to my email.

Edit; received the shipping email this morning. All's good! ;) thanks pricesengine for such an awesome deal.
