Since this router has only a single antenna it does not comply with the 802.11n standard. It is not a Wireless N router.

    • internal antenna maybe

    • Yeah I was going to get one when it was in a deal posted a while ago. It's an 'improved' wireless G router (no N at all I'm fairly sure), so it marks itself as running at 150Mbps. No idea how it could make the normal G chips communicating with it go faster, my guess is it can just handle 150Mbps itself, say running three clients at 50Mbps. But yeah that's just a guess, and this is still a fairly cheap router from a very good company.

    • Why is this dude getting neg'd? He's right…

    • It's rather confusing when the model starts with an "N". Funny thing is I got confused and looked up N150 under Netgear and they indeed do have one of the same model name that supports "N"!! :D

  • damn it I'm after a decent cheap N router/AP :-(

    • What about this http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/27776 ?

A lot of people did not vote positif for some reason on this router for only 29 with free shipping.I received mine last week (I don't need any more access points but thought I would try the N" and so far happy with the device.

I have not tested it properly yet so cannot comment. The big plus about this router is the wireless modes it offers.

If you are looking for a cheap n then this is it.

original poster needs to change the title from n to g.

even then it isn't a bargain.

    • adjusted

  • I think it is still N, its just N150 which isn't ceritified. There was lots of discussion about a wireless adapter of this type. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/24908

Doesn't even seem like a good router base on the 4 reviews at the bottom of this link. http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-reviews/308…

  • edit.. either belkins specs are wrong or this is one of those 'super G' type routers.
