    • +1

      well done mate!

    • You were quick!

    • Same order as mine …… except for the GPS (Damn you!) :)

  • +4

    hooray for impulse buying!

  • Does anyone know….
….Once the items are in your "cart", are they reserved, and if so, how long for?

    • It says they are not, only when the payment goes through are they reserved, or bought.

    • Nope, only once you go through with the order and pay are they reserved and the amount deducated from what's left in stock, that's how they get the sold out tags to come up.

      • Ok, cheers…..I wasn't sure so I bought in two separate orders … thank god I did or I would have missed the remote.

  • The Logitech DiNovo Keyboard is gone.

  • -7

the GPS looks like its worth about 10 bux anyway tbh so wasn't interested in that anyway. got the jostick though, lol

    • -1

You know the joystick lists only Windows95/98 and DOS compatibility, right?

    • +10

      • +2

        OK thanks Shadowshriek!!!

      • +4

Aw thanks :) I'm off to bed now!

        • +1

Massive props to you, mate… deal of the week for sure. :)

  • Hi,
I ordered the Sennheiser CX400 and iPhone Battery under separate orders. Does it make any difference if my billing address and delivery address is the same but under different names?. I paid through a debit card

    • Both orders had the same address except the name was different. If i incorrectly put the wrong name in(Not the exact same one from the debit card), is that alright?

    • I don't think so, last time my COTD headphones (the free cheap sennheisers) went to the post office and the name on the package would have to sign it

      • =o why did it go to the post office? and what if i put the wrong name for the debit card name(Put the name as it appears on your card) eg. John Smith but I put it as Jayden Smith.. Would that matter? I checked my transactions online and that amount has been deducted from my balance. Does that mean the transaction went fine?

        • If you are not there, they will send it to the nearest PO to be signed off

  • Bought the movie tickets.
I was asleep at the wheel here.

But i cant figure this game out.
Just used the links at top of page here.

  • consolation prize - movie tickets :/

anyone manage to book a spare gps or cx400 please share sighz….

    • didn't you get the logitech ue220 from an earlier deal? I got two that time so this didnt really interest me as much as it should have

      • huh?? i think u got the wrong guy lol

  • DAMN!!! Another impulse buy lol!

    1 x 12 Piece Toblerone Pack $5.95
1 x 30 Pack Extra Liquid Blast Sugarfree Gum $9.95
    1 x 30 x Kinder 43gm Bueno Bars $9.95
    1 x 60 x Samsung Pleomax AA Batteries

8 bux delivery is pretty good :)

    • what's the link for Kinder Bueno Bars?

      • +1

just add something to cart and the aa batteries + bueno bars will show up

    • Weren't those Pleomax batteries AAA rather than AA? I would have bought them if they were AA, heh… :)

      • It's AA i just checked my order :P

  • +2

damn… i should stop coming here and buying crap… My wife is going to kill me
I have all this excess stuff

    • lol i feel ya man!

      hahaha

    • +3

At least us males get stuff at bargain prices. we get a box of goods at what? under 100. The ladies get a pair of shoes at $O.o

  • can you buy more than one set of tickets?

  • +3

i got the philips universal remote!

i feel better about missing the condoms now.

i'm not sure though which one i'd rather be using.

    • Well the footy is on so:
      Both! = Man heaven

    • Wanna trade? I got nothing from this deal but snagged the Ansells earlier

      • +1

        "but snagged the Ansells earlier"

        Sounds painful.

  • thanks OP got the TV :)

  • To those who successfully ordered the Warrior 5 Mark 2 joystick: any suggestion what games to play with it? Google says its for Win95/98 or DOS game…?

  • Thanks for the post shadowshriek but how did u find out about this deal?

  • Aww god damn it, missed them all :(

  • Microsoft Webcam is now SOLD OUT.

  • That's everything gone

  • ALL SOLD OUT!

  • I got:
    2x movie tickets
    3x iPhone batteries
    1x Cuddlee
    1x Webcam
    1x HP headset

Disappointed about not getting those sennheisers

  • can someone please answer my question :(

    • what did you ask? lol

      • what if i put the wrong name for the debit card name(Put the name as it appears on your card) eg. John Smith but I put it as Jayden Smith.. Would that matter? I checked my transactions online and that amount has been deducted from my balance. Does that mean the transaction went fine?

  • every item in the main description is now sold out. Great job OzBargainers :)

    • I'm glad this deal was had by mostly members and not the guests. Seeing the 2000 clicks only

  • Like Trance N Dance asked before…

Where did this deal come from - not SOS so where?

    • probably facebook and twitter then shadowshriek alerted us about it

  • one thing i dont like about COTD.com.au is the time it takes to dispatch items
    hire more employees, thx

    • +1

more employees = more profit required to cover costs :P

    • +1

I received my items in 1 week, nothing to complain about at all

  • -3

    WHAT IS ACTUALLY LEFT?

All the other stuff sold out in 30 minutes!

    • I came in about 90 minutes after deal was posted (was playing AoE3 online, dammit!!) and managed to get webcam and movie tickets. Dont really need either but oh well it cheap enough.

    • GPS sold out in 5 minutes, CX400 and Philips remote sold out in about 20 minutes, but most other things took nearly 2 hours to sell out. Nothing left now.

  • +2

Mmm my catch of the day:
    1x movie tickets
    1x kinder buenos
    1x ms webcam
    1x headset
Dammn missed the Sennheisers. Clicked it into cart but the red ones sold out when I checked out… then i quickly added the silver upgrade and missed that by a hair too! You lucky fellas sure are fast. I was too busy msning the deals to friends.. Well that's one thing I've learnt today. At COTD it's every man for himself! Impulse impulse impulse… THEN share =)

Edit: how rude of me! Thanks QQQ and shadowshriek for the deals/headsup =)

    • Learnt the hard way ey, the world of bargains is ruthless, if you don't snap it up someone else will

      • Well, looking at the bright side… I don't actually need the cx400s, it was just too cheap to pass up. So in a way I saved myself 20bux, the upside of impulse-buy failures haha!

n.b. I paid $75+postage 5-6 years ago for the silver ones. They're still working today - handed it down to my sister.

  • Movie tickets sold out now. Glad both my wife and I managed to pick up a set each. That's 2 uber-cheap movies!

    • -1

      ummm 4
      it's two tickets a set

      • ummm 2 if we both go together. As if my wife's gonna let me go see 4 movies by myself! :P

  • QQQ, any idea if I could order 2 blankets with two different colours? It only allows me to select one colour for both cuddlees.

    Thanks.

    • +1

put one in yr basket, choose colour, then go back and add it again and choose a diff colour.

      • Thanks for that, should've figured it out. Cheers.

  • Any suggestions on how to make this more challenging for next time?

    • +2

Buyers have to have profiles on Ozbargain? ;-) Any bargain locations will eventually be posted somewhere…

    • +1

yes just give me all the links and i will not tell them

      • Any way you do it, there is going to be a easy way. This time, it was the ticker and apparently the link showed up if you browsed on your mobile. I thought the ticker was a cool way to find the links to the items.

        • Yup…I was browsing on my mobile and all the links were just splattered across the page! All I needed to do was "find on page" and it was easy as.

    • Make the best items the hardest to find :) Since the first hint was to the GPS it sold out relatively quickly haha

Other than that, it was awesome QQQ :) I ended up staying up way too late last night when I was planning on going to bed early

      • The same thing will happen, the links will get posted somewhere.

    • Don't have a list of what is available, just let us know it's on. It would make it a lot more exciting too. Maybe also have different ways of hiding the link? Put one on the about us page, put one in a video on one of the product pages.

    • Just make the link visible only to those that have logged in, and then make the links unique to each login, so it can't be shared. This way, everyone will have to find their own links.

    • Have the secret link in the pictures of products (but not necessarily the first default picture that displays) or have parts of a link scattered everywhere (not just in the product specs) so people have to guess the order of the letters….?

  • +1

    hide the ticker on site

    • I agree with bartracer, the ticker gives it totally away because as soon as one smart person finds it everyone is onto it!

  • +2

    QQQ
will these items on today again or any time sooner?
I have found the hidden treasures in the mid night but everything is pretty much all gone = (

  • -2

Have dynamically generated URLs that can't be bookmarked. Would piss people here off to no end, but it would be a quick and fell solution to the problem.

    • Yeah thats probably the only way to fully do it. At the end of the day they'll still have heaps of stock left as well

    • You have to click on something to get the URL generated … couldn't people share the page that you click on ?

      • +1

There are LOADS of techniques you could use - session based cookies link validation, single-use only links, etc.

      • They could make the URL expire after a certain timeframe

  • how long will it take for them to ship it to melb?
