Heaps of stuff left. I managed to find two Nike running tips for myself. $60 + $50 less 50% discount and will use my alread discounted gift cards to pay for it. Lots of other items to get here as well.
Line is about 40 mins long though so go with a mate and alrmternate gnting and line waiting.
Edit: line about 1 hour really. Lots of shoes left. Nike lunarglide 8, structure 20. Lots of real gym equipment like punching bags, weights, gloves. Lots of clothing as well. . definitely one of the better bargains I have experienced this year.

Still plenty left but a lot of the popular stuff (e.g Asics Kayanos) have gone. GPS watches were sent to Knox before the sale started.

Back when I worked at David Jones in 2013 there was talk that once the lease was up at the glen that they would exit from that centre. Villa ajd Hut is now Harris Scarfe.. it's really a bad end of the shopping centre

It probably has some of the best views over the area from that side (hence the cafe that was in Villa & Hut). Wasn't designed very well. They should have created a space for cafes/food places that end with windows along it and put the box style stores elsewhere.
They are moving Woolworths to half of DJ's space in the near future to make way for apartments. DJ's probably happy to have a smaller store?

A lot of stuff but it's literally a 2 hour wait, moved about 7meters in 35min look to my left a sign saying 90min from this point, stupid me thought the register was just ahead, dropped my stuff n left lol
Still heaps of shoes left of you're a size 10 and a decent amount of stuff. I would have purchased more if I wasn't already broke. Line was 1hr long when I went.

Likewise went in around 6 exited about 8. The queue was massive. Need to tag team one holding the place and another foraging…went out $400 lighter mostly runners… Asics were almost gone in mens… hurley and nike still left but 8 9 10s in asucs womens…a few basket balls and cricket and golf stuff left. Misc jogging clothed… Staff said they will last until the 27th. Doubt there will be stock left in next 2 days.

Purchased 3 pairs of shoes but were wrong size so went back to the closer store to me (Highpoint) and received credit for the full-price amount as 'i didn't have the receipt' but the price was on each box with the Rebel Sport sticker. Now I have doubled my $$$. Well not really doubled, but I can take my time and choose from what stock Highpoint has…

Hi all first time poster… semi long time ozbargain site reader. Had to chime in here since this Rebel Sport store is my local. It was never the best in terms of variety with the range of clothing they had. Unlike other stores they were not as good with sport team apparel (Forest Hill is another store that is lacking in this area too) in that they would not always be up to date and get the latest team gear in. I saw the aftermath of yesterdays trade effort at 9am this morning…. very impressive to see people have cleared most of the store out, a lot of the stuff that they couldn't get rid of for YEARS is no longer there haha. Even the Nike golf polo shirts were all gone (and they would rarely ever sell!). I was almost going to buy one of the few remaining pairs of shorts left which had only just been brought out at Rebel at the start of December (I got the exact same pair then), I decided against it even though I commonly do buy 2 or more of the same shirt, pair of shorts etc… in this instance I figured I already had enough shirts and shorts to last me months (from other spending sprees across the year). I did pick up a cheap football. The line wasn't bad when I started lining up (maybe 5-6 people in front of me), however it was growing massively behind me. Didn't really appreciate people cutting through the waiting lines just so they can cross to another part of the store easier, they are too lazy to walk the long way around.
Hahaha don't ever go to the Queen Vic night market on Wednesday because that happens all the time there!

I went into the store just before lunch and was going to pick up a few things. couple of basketballs and some golf balls and gloves but someone mentioned the line was between 1-1.5hrs so I gave up. Note the baseketballs were half price of the full price so would have been $35 per ball. Same ball on special at Knox for $40 with no line. There was still quite a lot of value to be had there for sure if you could be bothered with the wait but not as true as a full half price sale off the sale price for example.
Still 50% off. Only about 20% of stock remaining as at 11am today.
