Impressive specs, but why not put a 6-cell battery in it?

HD instead of fhd on a $1000 laptop……Can't imagine buying HD screen anymore

The specs are absolutely puzzling. the R7 M440 is a entry level GPU with 4gigs of slow/ outdated DDR3 memory,
The display is 720p so it's unlikely the user would really run out of VRAM

and a final kick in the teeth: a 5400 RPM spinning rust accompanied by a Core i7 CPU

This is what happens when you leave the laptop specsheet to the marketing department and the engineering team is out drinking beer.

    • Yes, just a mess. And HP has a problem with its categories. I have to look for a few minutes to figure out whether a HP is a Pavilion or an Envy or an unnamed model. And you think you've found a good one, then realise it's an AMD processor. Just end up bypassing HP. They are also a bit ugly with their big rounded edges. The Spectres look great.

The Lenovo deal below is way, way better than this:

So much so, that I'm going to -ve this so no one considers this HP consumer rubbish.

[laughs in Spanish] These specs for $999? Is this 2010? Everyone should avoid this like the plague.

  • same price as centrecom
