An alternative solution would be to take advantage of our free delivery to a local depot, and then organise a pickup by a handyman. Most handymen services range between $40-$60 an hour so this may be a more economical solution for you.

    …perfect for a car,trailer,boat

You must have a small car. Aren't little hatchbacks about 16ft long min?

Anyway thanks for posting. Nice big shed.

Most sedans are 3m long, this will fit.

    • Mazda 3 4.46M,Camry 4.85M,Mazda CX3 4.275M,Hyundai i30 4.3M Nissan Micra 3.78M

      • My mistake. I should have gone out and measured.

      • It's a Civic in the picture and as long as it's the hatchback version, it'd definitely fit.

    • Plus you will need to cut a window so you can see where you are going. Will definitely protect your cars paint though.

  • For midgets only. :(

Are you against midgets having bargains as well?

      • I'm against midget-only bargains. All bargains should be for anyone from midgets to giants. It's blatant discrimination, I've reported it to ACA!

  • Colour bond is much better so you don't get blinded looking at the shed but it is double the price.
    Yaris sedan 4.3M
Ideally would have more clearance for a car to avoid damage.

  • They have this shed for $1478 with free shipping. Door is on the side instead of the end. Deal may not be the stated 48% discount, probably more like 33%. Still good, but why exaggerate?

    • Hey Zaddo, that one you posted is a workshop style (double door on the long side), this one is a factory special of the Utility (https://www.simplysheds.com.au/absco-utility-shed-3m-x-4-5m-…). The RRP is $1999, and we were selling them at $1447 but we got a good deal from Absco on a bunch of them so can offer them at $999.

  • I thought it said Asbestos 😊

DO NOT purchase from this company. Here's how they operate:

They take full payment upfront. They hold onto your money for weeks and then pay Absco. Absco will finally release the shed when they decide to pay up.

After waiting several weeks for my shed to be delivered and many calls to their Filipino call centre with no result, I decided to call Absco to see if my order was actually sent from Simplysheds. Alas the order had been placed a few days after I paid, but wasn't going to be shipped out till Simplysheds paid for the order. This was about four weeks after I had paid. Two weeks after calling Absco, the shed was finally dispatched, six weeks in total.

Their "fasttrack" option of a further $29.95 cost to you doesn't involve any extra calls or work on their part, it just means they'll actually pay Absco for your shed in an appropriate time frame, instead of holding onto your money for weeks.

This is the first time I recall negging a deal. Dealing with this company is not worth your time nor the frustration. Pay a little bit more for decent service.

    • Maybe they get discount prices by buying in bulk, and it takes weeks to get the number sold to access the price point?

      • Based on this potential sales pricing structure, maybe you'll never get your shed.

        • Hi Eediot, you are 100% right, we had some issues (ok a lot!) at the end of 2015 and early 2016 but we got our act together around August of last year (just trying to be honest here… we were far from perfect during that time and I'm really sorry you had to deal with those issues).

We've spent a lot of time on our shipping & processing times and we've drastically brought them down (you can check out the recent reviews from Product Review, we hit an all time low of 1.9/5 but have been working out butts off and are back up to 3.6/5). It's still not as fast or as smooth 100% of the time which is where I want it but we're working hard to get there.

Thank you for posting this, I'd rather everyone in the community know what we've been through.

          Cheers,

          Daniel
