It was a discounted 12 month plan (around $10.5 for small plan) so I don't think I will get same price after the 30 days.

You can untick auto recharge when you activate the card
after receive sim card? do you do this online?
It would be an option during the activation process, all you can do right now is order the sim.

The activation deadline was in the T&Cs but I can't find it again. Maybe Kogan has changed their mind about that. I'll check when I get the voucher.

Just a forewarning—I had a horrible time trying to port away from Kogan to Telstra.
They kept rejecting the port because of "incorrect details" but everything was correct.
Each time I called support was an opportunity for them to persuade me to stay…
So if anyone is doing the porting between starter packs, I would advise you to stay away.

True but they're almost holding your phone number hostage. Didn't realise how much I had set up on that one number (2FA, bank SMS etc) until that experience with them.

Kogan runs on Voda, modem might be locked to Optus.
And probably doesnt support 3G 850 mhz either.
Can't speak for Voda but it works fine with my Optus and Telstra sim cards :)

By clicking on the link from my order page I can still get to the page where it says the voucher expiry date Voucher expires at 11:59pm AEST on 30 06 2017.
Will be disappointing if the date has been changed to march instead of June.

I think because people where commenting they where buying more than 2, kogan ended the sale. And this is Ozbargain kogan has eyes and ears, how many people where going to continue paying full price vs porting out/using a temp number.
Or he only has a finite supply of discount vouchers… Hard to say. Perhaps the terms and conditions were too ill defined.
