      Yes, I've a landscape from Big W I'm happy enough with. If the print needs to be sharp then look at metal.

        Uhm, no. Not from BigW anyway. They resample and compress anything you upload (ever wondered why photos upload so incredibly quickly, even if you upload a huge file?). Anything you upload gets reduced to 4000x3000 pixels (12MP) and recompressed to oblivion.
        I once ordered a 40x50cm metal print from them, and sent it back as it was an insult to the photo I uploaded. Dittered like crazy, with washed out colours. All sharpness and detail gone.

        Try it yourself - upload an image, and check the size after upload.

          Yeah I was very disappointed with my metal print looked terrible with tiny white dots all through it (taken with Canon DSLR with no issues) they re printed it 3 times, ended up getting my money back.
          Was curious if glass would be better but not going to risk it from Big W again

          Yeah look I think I've said this before elsewhere, but these are consumer prints. I paid @$60 for my glass print and its RRP was $140 or something. I was "happy enough" with it, I wouldn't pay rrp. If you just want something to hang on the wall at home and know how to prepare a photo for printing, BigW are ok.
