    I wouldn't deal with these guys
    They banned people last time for signing up to their free hosting packages

    This isn't a deal when past history with your company and ozbargain left a bad taste in my mouth

    People are better off with paying for local hosting with either ventraip or zuver(same company but budget version)

      Yup, after a recent very poor experience on another "deal" (not with this company though) posted on here by a cheap reseller, I'm done with these types of offers. Sad, as i was wanting to give the little guys a go, but was left with a very sour taste. Even as a budget host, i found the Zuver support to be great. They don't ignore, or randomly delete you for no reason and have all the services you need if you just need something small and cheap.

      Highly recommend VentraIP as well, been with them for a few years now. I've never had any downtime, and their customer service is fantastic

        I've been with them for 9 years and they do usually come to the party at renewal time when they tend to hit you for the full renewal rate, loyalty is also rewarded with these guys as they've sent me numerous goodies over the years just to say thanks

        Local support is great as well, very good servers and personally from my 9 years of hosting never seen any major issues or problems outside of the standard normal scheduled maintenance time frames

        Zuver and ventraip are under the one banner
        They started zuver to cater for the people who run blogs and little shops, it's in all honesty the same support you get with the bigger brother and I think every time I've gone off to the cheaper host for my personal site I've always come back to ventraip time and time again

        The problem comes with these unlimited hosts, they try and suck people in with their 12 dollar unlimited forever hosting and come 2-3 years down the track get bought out / change business owners or bankrupt themselves and reopen under a new name causing your site to disappear or your domains under certain circumstances to be locked forever to them unless you pay them absorbent fees to release them etc, also in the real world there is no such thing as unlimited and fast in the same sentence, the other problem with these overseas hosting is how secure is your data compared to it being kept with a local host that's trusted

        I'm sorry but I've been burnt by free hosting companies in the past and unless they're an established long term host they should have no right on ozbargain to post their shoddy deals

        Also it should be mandatory that any hosting deals are Australian only / have an abn attached to ensure we are protected by consumer laws

  Really.. these guys again? I concur with shawncro as I have had the same experience. Stay well clear of this host and imo Weekhost should be perma banned from making any future posts.
