Terms & Conditions (thanks to xerot):

  • Spending a total of $7 or more during the Promotional Period
    (Monday- Friday 11am until 2pm) at any food court retailer in the
    Centre (excluding Coles & Target).
  • That same day, presenting their receipt(s) to Myer Centre Promo
    staff located at food carts on Level E (outside Soul Origin) or
    Level A (Between McDonalds and KFC) during the promotional
    period.

Offer commences 6th March 11am, offer concludes 10th March 2pm or when sold out daily.

Edit: Just used. Can confirm it's just a standard gift card. No minimum spend or anything.

          Well they was smarter than modern day programmers. The Mayans build their calender to work up to 5000 years. Some of our software coudnt even work after 50 years and encountered the Y2K bug. Even iPhones will still brick if you set the date to 1970s.

          Future time travellers be warned not to use iPhones.

    Seems like a good promo…..Guess they're noticing the reduction in lunchtime customers now a good chunk of the public service was moved to William Street and are too lazy to walk to the Myer Centre anymore

    Can confirm there is another cart in the Myer centre on albert street.

    Cart is out the front of KFC.

    Only takes about 15 seconds to do.

    Went in at 1:10pm and they had already hit their 'daily limit.' If 1000 to be collected in total am guessing that equates to 200 per day. Will have to get in early tomorrow!

      Surely 200 per day would have finished before 1pm? I can tell you that people were already claiming at 11am. There is in the upper food court and then the lower food court. 1000 gift card could easily been given by 1pm.

          When will marketing people understand:

          • People like free things, there will be a high demand.
          • There's this thing called the Internet, information about deals spread quickly.

          I do feel sorry for the temp staff, that I assume won't be required to hand the vouchers out tomorrow. Speaking of which, they must of spent a fortune on the voucher packaging, that I guess will go in the bin now. Not to mention signage and the costumes staff were wearing.

    Was being advertised twice per adbreak on hit105 this morning.
    Myer centre has 35 shops listed as food court and takeaway.
    1000 gift cards for the week was a total and obvious underestimatation. Working it out per store gives under 30/ store ; less than 6 per day. If any outlets in there are only serving 6 people in a 3 hour lunch period they'd close down.
    Disclosure - did not get a gift card at 1.25pm so a bit dirty about it…
