    Thanks OP
Wednesday lunch fixed for me ;)

  • Damn. I would've smashed a meatball sub at lunch time. Thanks OP!

    • What's the Tuna? Is it salty? How's the pungency factor?

  • This deal has been around for at least six weeks.. but might not have been posted here so thanks :)

  • Yeah this has been a thing for weeks in Sydney but only in some stores.

Cheaper than a pork roll in my area not bad..

And with potatoes at roughly $1.50 a kilo for me at my nearest Coles this deal is still somewhat totally worth it.

3kg of mash or a 6 inch sub hmm.

    • I would take the mash. It is one of my favourite foods.

      • Definitely.

      • They oughtta bring back the $5 six-incher or $8 footlong! Both meal deals were accompanied with a cup to fill a drank !!!

  • Maybe it's just me, but I find the breakfast subs at subway to be terrible

No, it's not just you - I came in here only to say exactly the same thing.

Those Subway breakfast things are by far the worst takeaway food I think I have ever eaten. I chucked the first one away, then a few months later I tried again just in case the first was an isolated case.

The second attempt seemed equally as bad, however the taste and texture instantly reminded me of the utter disgustingness of the first one, and I literally dry wretched after the first bite.

Whoever is responsible for that abortion of a product should be tied down and force-fed some of the crap. It truly is absolutely foul.

I wonder why there isn't a "Subway Breakfast Challenge" on the internet, where people attempt to eat one without vomiting.

  • The signs for this have been removed from my local (South Bank, QLD) store. It's still on the Subway website though so not sure if it's been replaced by a new offer.

  • Saw somewhere they were also selling a 'limited edition 6" sub' for $4.50 … some sort of beef if I remember

    Can someone confirm ??
