You'll need to scan your Woolworths Rewards Card. Although the staff my prohibit it, you could use a discounted Wish Card to purchase these. Additionally, you might be able to convert your Myer GC in to a Coles Group GC at Myer, but again staff might stop you.

        at 1.1-1.2cents per point you would have to redeem it on J class flights only to be worthwhile. No giftcard purchases and economy seats.

    Hi OP, thanks for posting this. With regards to your last point, Myer's FAQ may be outdated, because Myer gift cards can be used for online purchases since late last year.

      I'm looking to buy something worth over $1,000 so this would be perfect to double up on the points ;)

        Yes you can, however I can't recall whether there is an upper limit of 5 gift cards per transaction or not. It is possible however, that you consolidate all the gift cards at a customer service desk, which will make online purchase easy. Also, Coles Myer gift cards cannot be used for online purchases.

          I recall there is a limit to the number of gift cards you can use per online transaction as a mate tried paying for an iPhone with it and got stuck.

        After adding all your stuff in the cart. Go to the cart page and scroll down and proceed to pay. Then after entering all your details (address and delivery method), scroll down to 'gift/reward card'. That is where you enter your gift cards. At the moment it's unavailable for some reason, but that is generally how you would use your gift card.

          I had a look last time at the gift cards and I don't think they stock Coles gift cards (and vice versa).

          Netflix, village, Coles myer etc.

          @swimmingtoad: sorry - when I said "they" I meant Woolworths. As mentioned by someone else I don't think they they'll allow you to pay for a gift card with another gift card. But how would they know though… You say you want to pay by eftpos, swipe your gift card quickly and enter the pin.

      If enforced, the latter would be correct. However, it is highly unlikely that the system will enforce this rule, unless there is a buying frenzy that results in Woolies selling a lot more of these cards than they stock, which was the case when Woolies had a promo for VISA gift cards 2 weeks ago.

        I think the 10 cards limit is referring to how many rewards points you can get. Sure there will be no limit on how many you buy but once you get over 10 cards per rewards account there will be no rewards points given.

          Based on experience, I had no trouble earning points when I bought more than 10 Myer gift cards a month ago (same promo was running @ Woolies), and the 'limit of 10' clause was also included in the fine print.

    Most of the time last year, they are offering $10 off $50 selected gift cards, including Myer. That is 20% off.

      good timing as with professionals doing their thing, =$1069.50 may get some lavish $1k thing, after 200.00 of rewards/food. It's 12.2% extra buying power, against 10% extra on this mere subsequent deal.

      lesser luxe cards Netflix and others sourced out of Coles only last week, going deeper, opened up <33% to 25% discount on entertainment/grocery.
      fwiw 4 000 flybuys credited across two A/Cs for myself from $20+$30 :-)

    These cards can only be used in Myer so
    they are worth buying only if you have found something you want to buy in Myer.
    In Myer they will not let you buy a different gift card with a myer gift card.
