What about the strength? I find these espresso beans nice and strong.
All supermarket beans are stale
Unless you are buying and using the beans within 3-4 weeks of their ROASTED ON date, they are already too far gone.
You will find that no supermarket beans print the "roasted on" date and instead have a "best before" which gives you no indication as to when they were actually roasted.
They will pass for maybe a plunger coffee, but forget it for espresso or anything else.
Interesting. I sent some Vittoria coffee back to Vittoria themselves as it tasted crap compared to the previous pack. They said it was stale.

It used to be fairly decent, a year or two ago. Then, when it was given a new packaging, it was very weak and tasteless.
Yeah, I thought this deal was for all their types, organic included, but it's only their cheap one it seems.
The buggers don't sell the organic beans anymore. The other vittoria ones we don't like.
Actually the organic one are online, it must be just my store that doesn't stock them.
