Not a huge saving. These go for $90-100 every day at computer stores.

    • Its corrected now. Thanks :)

      • Yeah sorry. I kind of edited my post after i found out the fact of that.

  • Paid $80 for one a few weeks ago

Deal is not as good as Logitech Triathlon from good guys.

    • +4

I doubt this one is a pricing error though. Why would you even compare a MX with a Triathlon, if I'm after a MX there's no chance I'll consider a Triathlon.

Best mouse ever! Still use it since it released!

The stone colour one looks better. 😍😍

    • +1

Thanks!! Already have the black one at work so got the stone for home. :)

EDIT: Got it for $75.05 pickup as I had the 5% extra JB Hifi discount coupon in my inbox. So saves from have to go to Officeworks If anyone else has the coupon.

  • They finally have the white one in stock! Oh man, I have to have it. Love this mouse (even though Logitech support sucks ass).

  • +1

Sounds like I did well getting mine for $32 a year ago

  • Best mouse ever!!
    Been using one since launch
    Never failed me

Hope they can make one with real metal oneday

  • Bought one of these used (almost new) for $80..

Knowing that they go for $110ish typically

But $79 is cheap for an awesome mouse, I use mine for work and it is a lot better for my big hands then the mouse provided.

    Battery life is amazing too.

    • Can you describe the level of amazing as in battery life? I'm still using a Marathon Mouse M705 with supplied AA batteries from 2011 for daily office work and the battery app reports it's at 71% charge. Best mouse I've ever had. I think the batteries expired a year or two ago but the bloody thing works like new.

      • Wouldn't mind a contoured mouse again, but I won't buy anything that has a proprietary battery if I can help it. There's no reason not to utilise standard size cells. Except to annoy me.

  • Can I use this mouse to play games like cs go and lol?

    • Go for a gaming mouse, they gave me better experience for gaming and more comfortable if you play for long time.

    • +1

Apparently the mouse has mouse acceleration on hardware level so you can't disable it with software.

      Tldr it's not recommended.

    • It should be fine for lol. I play Overwatch with it and it's been fine as well. Up to preference though, it is a bit on the heavy side due to it being wireless.

  • Sparkly stone!
    No, it's gold!
    That's what I call treasure.
    Well, it's not really gold.
But I still think it's special.

OTTER, COME BACK WITH MY STICK!

Thanks OP, my mouse just broke a couple of days ago so this was fantastic timing. Got the pretty looking Stone one.

  • I got both MX and MX anywhere, found out this is a bit too heavy for me, MX anywhere is better

  • Don't like it on the Mac. Sensitivity just not as good as Magic Mouse plus no gesture.

the lowest i have seen is $69 through HN last boxing day sale .. but for this price still an absolute bargain .. that hyper wheel scroll is dope !!!

  • Does anybody know how I can modify function of various buttons'keys when using this mouse at work. I cannot install Logitech software there.

  • I have M950 and I've been looking to upgrade to this for some time. How's the MX master compare?

    • I have an MX master at home and getting another to replace my m950 at work.

  • +1

I have 2 of the original model (1 home, 1 work), the best mouse i've ever used.

Will be picking up a spare or 2 at this price, thanks!

  • Thanks op bought one. I really needed this muse for ergonomic reasons.

  • Bought this from thegoodguys couple of weeks ago. Thought of sharing my experiance. As a mac user i was really dissapointed with the mouse pointer speed (found similar issues related to win10 as well in logitech forums). i have to move the mouse about 25cm horizontally to reach other end of the screen on a regular 1080p screen on highest dpi sensitivity (through their software). Needless to say this puts a lot of strain on the wrist. The only alternative is to increase system's mouse accelerarion which makes cursor movement not very precise. if you use such softwares that requires such precision it will be a problem.

I was using g502 and thought of going for the so called best productivity mouse but oh well :(

p.s. Please dont downvote due to no reason as the purpose of this comment is to create awareness of a very practical problem with this product.

    • I just bought it. I can get across a 2 1080p screens in a 10cm arc of my wrist. No lifting my wrist. I'm on windows 10. I'm using it for modelling and its fairly precise. Sounds like a mac issue maybe mate?

Don't be a swine mate. Nobody likes a swine.

  • Hey guys, if I bought this mouse, I would only use it for school because I have a Razer Deathadder at home for gaming. Should I buy this? Or should I get the Mx Anywhere 2? Becuase with the sale price for the master they are both $80.. Thanks!

    • mx anywhere 2 is $89 from your link. if the bigger size doesn't botter you, there should be no brainer then.

    Thanks op. Grabbed one.

    Thanks!
Just got a 5% price beat from Officeworks for $75.05.
Hopefully the battery last at least 2 weeks.
Compared to my old Logitech Performance MX which only last 3 days of continuous use.

Got the Stone one using the 5% off code, reducing it to $75.05, then paid using 2 x Ultimate Kids gift cards obtained from here and here, essentially bringing it down to $55.05. Can't complaint :)
