        And OS.

        • ok ta. Will add up quickly…

    • Hi, how did you go with your order? Any problems/delays with warehouse 1 or it turned out fine?

  • +2

Hi Rep, Any chance you can do a better deal on the ST4000VN008? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Seagate-IRONWOLF-ST4000VN008-NAS-…

    Thanks

Careful with warehouse 1 I'm still waiting for an item i ordered 3 weeks ago i that i am about to reverse charge on my credit card i recommend you check their whirlpool thread before ordering

    • -3

Phew, I nearly bought all the stock! Lucky! Thanks for sharing the absolute scandal you're dealing with

      • +5

Along with all the poor comments in the whirlpool thread you can find many more if you google warehouse 1 review.

        • +1

Googling any company yields an echo chamber of poor reviews.

So I recommend being careful with doing this!

        • +1

          @jenkemjunkie
For comparison the same review site has mwave rated 4.4 out of 5. Pc case gear 4.4 out of 5 and warehouse 1, 1.6 out of 5. How about all the comments on the whirlpool thread in addition to this?

        • -6

          @psylence:

          productrview.com.au?

          Warehouse1 has 186 reviews
          Mwave has 2135 reviews
PC case gear has 944 reviews

Heard of statistics it's kind of handy when doing comparisons? Heard of the z-test for equality of proportion sizes to illustrate how stupid these sites are to place your trust in and make your decisions from?…if you still hold these sites in high regard, maybe you should learn about sample size.

I read some of the reviews. They're ridiculous. I can picture the goons crying that their light up case fans didn't arrive at the speed of light.

        • ive used them and got my my stuff ……… the feedback on ebay as a percentage is more realistic than a few bloggers from mamamia …….

          99.2% positive from over 4000.

    • +1

Have you even bothered to call and ask about your order? Sounds like you haven't. Instead of having a whinge, ring them and if they can't fulfill the order I'm sure they will process a refund for you. It happens to every PC store. I've had this exact problem with Warehouse1 before and they were nothing but apologetic and refunded me on the spot.

      • +4

I did yes they said they would get back to me but didnt, I'll once again encourage users to checkout the thread on whirlpool which is full of a multitude of customers problems. Not surprised that you also had the same "problem" with them.

        • +1

Similar usernames (but 100% different people), with similar experiences.
Took weeks to get an item shipped. Rep on ebay couldn't give me an ETA.
          Left the appropriate eBay feedback.

Seems common lucky your item turned up. Try googling warehouse 1 review and see all the poor comments. Wish i had known before ordering.

The fact that their MD spent 6 years as operations manager for megabuy is a good enough reason for me to stay away.

      • +1

That is one dodgy picture for a LinkedIn profile of a managing director of anything except for the Fishing Club. Nothing against fishing specifically, which is great, by the way.

        • That's not a fishing rod. That's their MD in a wife beater posing in front of a paddock basher with a rifle. I shoot and can't stand the anti gun hysteria in the media but not the kind of pic I'd put up on Linkedin.

        • @OzBragain:

Ah, that's my bad, didn't look carefully. Wasn't targeting anything in particular in the picture itself, more a comment on it being out-of-place compared to most pictures on Linkedin (as you mentioned, not a pic you'd use as a Linkedin profile pic)

    • i am about to reverse charge on my credit card

This is eBay though… I've never had an issue getting a Paypal refund or giving BAD reviews…

  • Any good deals for 4GB RAM for NUC?

    • Hi how did it go with the order? Any problems/delays with warehouse 1 or it turned out fine?

  • Not many reviews on the OKI, what are they like as printers?

    • +1

I've only used a business grade OKI printer in the past and they were solid fast performers with some unique features that other printers don't generally have (such as banner printing). Would have no hesitation recommending their business class printers.

No idea how they are with their low-end consumer printers but a quick google search showed that this OKI printer on offer isn't stellar in performance although the price is appealing.

Price for toner isn't the most cost effective either and there is a higher end OKI for $599 that has toner that has per page running costs ~ 50% less so if you plan on doing a sizable amount of colour printing, get a more expensive printer as the toner and running costs will be lower (and this applies to pretty much all manufacturers)

Well the last order I made turn up doa. Numerous complaint gone on deaf ears. They will only come back to you when you put negative feedback on their eBay store. I will let you guys be the judge.

    • Well the last order I made turn up doa.

Didn't paypal help you sort it out?

  • +1

Thanks for posting this. I pulled the trigger on the Skull Canyon, as I've been eyeing off a NUC for a while now. At that price, I had to jump on it.

Hopefully the comments regarding problems dealing with the store aren't the norm.

        Just relax, mate

    • Hi Zain just out of interest was wondering if you had got your item fine without any problems?

  • +4

Personally, I've only had good dealings with Warehouse1. Their prices are sharp, and if you're worried about not getting your order, you can always go visit them at their shop at the Docklands in Melbourne.

  • So the consensus is, if you are willing to wait a while to get your items but at good prices, go Warehouse1. You'll ultimately be protected by Paypal + Ebay. If, however you need the item within a few days or a week, goto your local PC store (e.g. umart, msy, etc). Personally I don't mind waiting unless I need an item before a trip. Whenever I look for an item on eBay, it's always 50% cheaper from China/HK vs Aus. I think the issue with Warehouse1 is they state the item as IN STOCK, when they probably don't actually carry it.

The Intel i7 Skull Canyon BOXNUC6I7KYK4 is $157.8 cheaper than any of the major PC stores in Australia right now, so if I waited 30 days, it works out at a savings cost of $39.45/week.

i waited for my stuff to be delivered ….. couldn't be bothered the tram ride to dockland arrived ok …. home microserver and another order was dsl wireless modem

    • Ordered some hard drives from them in this recent sale and they arrived next day. My delivery address was close to their retail location, but still good to see the quick delivery. I guess it comes down to what items you order and their stock levels.

  • +4

Why did you pull the ML10V2 when the eBay deal started? You had it listed then boom 10am hit and it was out of stock. Even though it said more then 10 available at 9.59 and 0 had sold

  • Does Skull Canyon have HDMI2?
If so it'd be the perfect media pc

  • Hey Rep,

why do you have some many items listed with no details:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HPI-T5K41PA-HP800-G2-DM-I7-6700T-… has optional plugs on the back - which ones does this come with [HDMI??]

    This one:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252788002511
Has not description details at all.
Does this come with all the specs listed under the manufacturers product code: T1D51PA

    Little help??

    K
