Someone has to pay for Wang Wang and Funi!

    • I reckon that's a mistake.
IIRC some SA's families are buying cheaper interstate family passes (because kids are free) and using them for Adelaide zoo. So interstate zoo members had to produce ID showing they lived interstate if they wanted their kids to get in free.

Of course they could be worried that cockroach kids could be mistaken for exhibits/food by keepers.

$20 joining fee per person! wtf

    • It is not per person but per membership application. We have 7 in our family and there was only one joining fee payable.

      • What if you're already a member?

Or is this for new members only?

Taronga Park Zoo still old and run-down concrete eyesore? Are the polar bears still green from mould?

Featherdale Wildlife Park Zoo, in Blacktown is 10X better in terms of getting to interact with Aussie Wildlife (Feeding Kangaroos, petting them etc) and you get to take pictures with the koalas for free!, of course you can also donate too while you are there.

Edit: Quokkas are the best ones there. Make sure you go fairly early, otherwise the kangaroos would be lazy and fed.

  • I've wanted to go to the zoo for ages, but it's too expensive!

They should let me in for free. :/
