      For some reason is says "DAMAGED CARTON 12 MONTH WARRANTY APPLIES"

      So maybe it's damaged carton (which don't really matter) and it is tech from 2015

    The best feature is being waterproof enough to go swimming although the sound is compromised if there is not a tight seal with your ear and water gets in.

    The music can be dragged in on explorer, without using any of the sony syncing software.

    The bluetooth is just the icing on the cake.

    I had an earlier version of this before, bitter for losing it while I was sleeping on the train.

    Been eyeing it for some time and it's finally on discount. For those wondering how it holds up, the bluetooth drains the battery really fast in ~3-4 hours. Otherwise the in built mp3 player should last you an entire day out.

      most bluetooth in ears are rated for 2-4 hrs only either.

      I got one because I can go for runs without bringing a phone. I have to be complete the circuit to get home. cant get lazy and call for help.

      I hesitated - first rule of Ozbargain, NEVER hesitate. Rookie move but saved $50.

      I wear a GPS watch when running, would never leave my phone behind, and have Sony headphones similar to these but they don't have any tracking or monitoring - just music. I'm not losing out from missing out. Would have loved to grab some in black but that was over before I said hello.

      You'd see comments on here if there were. Of more note, has anyone received a shipping confirmation yet? Sony are supposed to ship out same day or next day for orders placed before 9am - or something like that.

        Yeah I figured as much, I'm one of the ones who managed to get in this morning. So far, the only email I've received is the initial order confirmation email.

        Their shipping says shipped same day if ordered before 9am, but it says, that it may be longer during flash sales. So I'm guessing might take longer than a day or two to get emailed.

    Anyone else started to receive their delivery?

    I'm not worried about timeline, but am a little concerned if they're not sending out shipping notifications with courier tracking as I have a feeling the order may have shipped without full address details for some reason. I have no idea which company to check in with to ensure they get it right (having delivery to work).

    received mine 2 days after purchased (bought tues evening, received thurs afternoon via DHL)

    looks like new in box. Annoying to unpack. Overly complicated packing, but nothing a box cutter couldnt solve.

    Like the unit, except for the HRM, it keeps losing signal and interrupting my running to tell me that. When it did, it was 20 bpm more than what my chest strap indicated. The GPS distance tracked was the same as my garmin watch.

    Had to actively contact Sony to say, "what's going on?". Only then was it, "oh yeah - we'll have to cancel your order as none left, product discontinued, and no replacement coming…" Sounds like could be BS, but I'll watch the space. Bit disappointed but on the bright side I made I don't have to go running with pastel blue headgear.

          I decided to wait it out, got the ` missed' note on friday, and got mine today. I had no other contact after the reciept. For those who haven't got them, they may have just covered their arses and quickly refunded anyone who looked like they would complain…
