  • Undercut, you are hardcore. 10 deals posted in the last 24 hours?!

    • wonder how they fit in sleep…

  • Can someone please explain this part of it. Does this mean you can't short sell?

"Day Short Selling, Term Short Selling OTC CFDs and ASX CFD’s"

    • This means you won't get it counted for a free trade.

  • Am I able to just close my existing CommSec account and create another one?

    • One would suggest not: " Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer and not open to existing CommSec clients"

  • say i wanted to open a new account and invest in some shares. Are they any hidden fees?

    • No hidden fees at all. There are account keeping fees for the trading account or the cash management account and the only fees you will be charged are the brokerage fees for each trade you do.

So if you take advantage of this offer you will not pay a thing for your first 15 trades, although normal banking fees still apply to the cash management accounts - overdrawing fees, non bank ATM withdrawl fees etc but no monthly account keeping fees

  • Awesome deal… Potentially $450 worth of free trades.
